RE: George and Catherine Fluck Smith
The Ardmore history mentions some relatives but not his parents. I reviewed my files and see that I do not have a birth year on Find A Grave. That, I now remember, is because the year isn't confirmed. I only have census records to provide any idea and you know how reliable they are....

1. The 1820 census lists him as 26-44.
2. 1830 lists him as age 30-39.
3. 1840 40-49
4. The 1850 census lists him as being born circa 1796 (54 yoa). However, the 1850-1885 US Census Mortality Schedules provide his birth 1792.

As you can see, I don't know the birth year. However, I wonder why he wasn't included in the will you referenced.

RE: George and Catherine Fluck Smith
My Tobias was born in Bucks County. He lived in Lower Merion and Ardmore during his lifetime. He had a large smoked ham distribution business. He was married too Ann Louise (--). Tobias' story is told in a book written on Ardmore's history.

I hope we can make a connection. My research on this line has caused me to hit a brickwall.

Thank you for the nice memorial for Jeff. He was only sick for a short time, and it's quite a shock for his family, I'm sure.

RE: Tobias Smith
My Tobias lived 1792-1860. I have quite a bit of info on him but not much on his siblings or parents.
