 | Mattie Geneva Miller Nichols Mattie is buried in Modesto Citizen's Cemetery. This cemetery is next to Acacia. There are 5 cemeteries side by side. I have posted her marker on both her memorials. Ed Smith put all the cemeteries on find a grave that were listed online. He is great to work with.
The photo is not great, I had to dig it out the marker was covered with dirt and grass.

 | Alman's at Ft. Rosecrans Thank you for taking the beautiful headstone photos of Josephine Mary Callahan Alman and Maxwell Alman at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. The photo of Maxwell's stone looks surreal with the dark deep blue sky. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to do this for me. They were the parents of my aunt Shirley Alman Duncan. Lee A. | RE: Frank & Edith Abrahamson You're welcome. I just got through reading the forum thread re: your search for your uncle John. I wish you good luck with that. It looks like you have quite a few volunteers, both here and in Illinois, working on this. God bless them, I can't believe what they have come up with so far. It is truly amazing. Sincerely, Bonnie

 | Rory Spitzer "Marker" Hi Heather,
I went last month to photograph markers at El Camino Memorial Park and found this man's memorial.
It is located in a mausoleum, and there are a couple of problems.
The urn (I believe) is about 7 to 8 feet off the ground. I was going to take a step-ladder and approach when the area was empty, as it seems a bit weird to bring a ladder along.
It is in shadow in the afternoon, so don't think the printing on the memorial will show unless you get there earlier.
And it is behind glass, so reflection may be an issue.
His mother's urn/marker was photographed and is on the website (they are together), and the photo doesn't reveal much. You might want to do the family a favor and get a better 'shot' of hers also.
