Thank you very much for taking the times to take a photo of his headstone and looking for his plot even though I don't have it, it very much appreciated.

Thank you so much for finding the fragment of that old gravestone. I suppose the other pieces are strewn about under the grass or tossed into the corners of the cemetery. Your photograph may have just rescued that monument from obscurity.

Thank you so much for the information on Frank McCormack's grave site. I did not know the exact date of his death and that there was an obituary. I added the information to his Find A Grave memorial.
Years ago I enjoyed going to the genealogy dept. of Rochester's Central Library when I vacationed there in the summer, but now I have no access to their online web site. I would very much like to know how to access the old Rochester newspapers for obituaries online if they are available. Occasionally I find one on the fultonhistory.com site.
You were so helpful and I thank you.

Thank you so much for the great photo! I appreciate you very much.
FYI, the third child of Samuel and Sarah Brigham was Harriett. She eventually married George C. Howard and is also buried in Maplegrove Cemetery. Section 37. She evidently married a Pettingill before that. Her grave is not listed on Find a Grave, but is in cemetery records on http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/maplegr.htm.

I have family Bible records for Sarah BRIGHAM (not Bingham) and it is very clear that she died April 15, 1844. I agree that Samuel BRIGHAM should be April 7,1777. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the photo of Samuel Brigham. I have been working on the Adams family (he married Sally Adams) for decades. When I was at the cemetery years ago I didn't know her husband's name. It is a good thing you do for folks like me who are on the opposite side of the country.
