I'm a lifelong resident of Broken Arrow, OK. I seem to be a genealogist for all branches of my families - both on my side AND on my husband's. Some surnames I am tracing are Lee, Davis, Tinney, McClure, Croco, Colyott, Yandell, Cotner, Humble, Dickerson, Wiggins, and Cloyd. I am a member of D.A.R. and love doing research on my own family - and anyone else's!
I am glad to have a part in sharing information on this website. I believe we owe a debt to those who have lived before us, and part of that is repaid by not allowing them to fade from memory. I am happy to do corrections and updates, and if you find a relative among those memorials I maintain, I am more than happy to transfer them to you, unless I am more closely related! For any updates or transfer requests, PLEASE use the link provided on the memorial to contact me.
Visiting so many cemeteries I am always saddened at the graves that are unadorned and seemingly forgotten. Those feelings inspired me to write the following. . .
I Will Remember
I know not how you came here – only whether early in life or late. Was your passing something expected, or was the shock of it quite great? Is there anyone left standing who was witness to that day? Or have they – along with the memories they held of you - now all slipped away? Although it's true that I never knew you, And it's true that you never knew me - I'll just stand here a quiet moment hoping that somehow you will see. Maybe I'm not a dear loved one And it isn't quite the same - - But I will pause to leave a small token And I will remember your name. -Janet Lee Davis
NOTE**** May 2012 - - I am part of a team that received management of Charlie Crocker's memorials in PARK GROVE CEMETERY in Broken Arrow. Let me know if you have additional information on any of these memorials I hold there.
Floral Haven Memorial Gardens Thank you for taking the time to photograph Bernard Webster's grave. It was greatly appreciated. May I have your permission to copy the photo you took for my family tree. I would give you credit for taking the photo. Holly
RE: G.W Jones OK, So sorry. The memorial # is 10254089. Park Grove cemetery Broken Arrow OK. It said it was created by Charlie Crocker in 2005 and maintained by you. Yes I am on Anceserty.com under Tammy Lambeth. Thanks!
RE: G.W Jones I found your link on the memorial grave photo for G.w Jones. I thought that you and I might be related some how. Maybe it was just some research that you had done for someone else. None of the names that you had listed in your bio were names of my family. Thank You Anyway. Tammy
G.W Jones Hi Janet, My name is Tammy Lambeth /Finley. G.W Jones and his wife Nancy Elizabeth Matilda Holmes/Jones were my great grandparents. Their daughter Georgia Anna Jones/Lambeth was my grandmother. Could you tell me if any of them were Native American? I have been told all of my life that they were but I cannot find any real proof.
