I believe that FindAGrave serves as a tremendous genealogical resource and that to do so is not in concert with my genealogically oriented FindAGrave comrades. My work is my gift to posterity and, one day, I will be honored to appear at this site.

Concerning Transfer Requests: Other than Pre-1900 Veterans (who I do not transfer) ~and~ my direct ancestry, be your relationship vague, distant, or non-existent, if you are committed to improving upon one, not just collecting it (but how am I to know), please feel free to request a transfer using the SAC/EDIT feature. *****BUT***** If your bio is exclusionary and copyright laden, I'll surely adopt your policy in responding.

Happy graving.

Enid Rimpau
FYI: The photos you have on her memorial are not where she was interred. She was not buried in the Rimpau Mausoleum.

Enid Rimpau
I have received your message. I understand this whole "duplicate" situation, but, I seem to recall sending a suggestion on Enid several years back with information and not seeing it ever updated. After seeing that it was never changed, I went ahead and made her an accurate memorial because I wanted to make sure her information was available. She is not buried in the Rimpau Mausoleum as the photo implied for many years, but in fact, as Mark Daniels photo shows she is in the Community Mausoleum. He took the photos at my request. That is the only reason he attached it to both memorials. I would appreciate if you add her correct dates, biographical information and correct burial location to yours, I would be happy to delete the one I have. I am the only one who has researched and written in depth about Enid in all these years, and I have grown very attached to her story. As you can see, I am the only one who visits her memorial and leaves "tokens", also. I just want to make sure her life is rememebered accurately. That's all.-- Please message me when you have updated the info and I will delete my duplicate. Thank you--

Awwwww.....THANKS, GARY!!

That was very nice of you! I appreciate that, very much!

I can't tell you what it means, all the work you've put in, here. It's the intangibles that always "get me"...

I can't say THANK YOU, ENOUGH!

Thank you, Row, for creating this memorial and for the quick response with the update, I really appreciate it! I have been looking for him for a very long time. He was one of 19 children and I have found all but 4, I believe his sister and another brother are also in this cemetery.... more later. Thanks again!

Find A Grave Photo Request / Patricia GALLUP
Hi, I'm happy to fulfill your Find A Grave request to photograph the headstone of Patricia GALLUP at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA. Because there are more than 100 open requests for this cemetery, please call the cemetery's office at 310-836-5500 and get the specific plot number of the grave--I can't go to their office and ask for the locations of 100+ graves! :-)

Once you've got the location, message it to me and I'll go take the picture as soon as I can.

I will be heading to the cemetery this Sunday so if I get your location information by then, I will be happy to post your photos then.

RE: Johan Sebastian Wonder
Hi Gary, thank you so much for visiting my mom's memorial and the thoughtful note you left. Regarding Sebastian Wonder, he was my husband's fifth-great grandfather. For many years there was a Wonders/Van Hyning family reunion in Zanesfield, Ohio every year and we attended once. I'm not sure if they still have it? Sebastian's great-great granddaughter Virginia Wonders married Mortimer Van Hyning, and many relatives from the family still live in the Zanesfield area. Thank you again for your kind words :) - Amy Van Hyning

RE: Walter Butler Palmer
...and now you inspired me to find Mary Elizabeth Frye as well (the author of the poem on the top of my page). I even added both of their memorial #'s on my page. So glad you came to tell me where Mr. Palmer was, because it's inspired me to do more.
