Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been into genealogy since I was given an original copy of a family history that my great-grandfather wrote in 1905. Both of my grandmothers coached me in the family history, and I have always wanted to share that heritage with all of the family. Find-A-Grave give me a chance to share that info not only with people I know, but also with others that I don't personally know. My family teases me about it, but cemeteries are a wealth of information and history. It is interesting to see the family connections, the architecture and style of the grave markers and monuments, and the different ethnic styles over the years. Every grave represents a real person who was loved. Some have been forgotten, but find-a-grave is helping people rediscover their families. Since I was 12, I have "adopted" my uncles who died in the Civil War, because they had no children of their own to remember them. Likewise, I want to help the babies and children to be remembered, by linking them to their parents. If you have corrections or new info to add, just click on "Edit". If you are related, I'd love to share info with you.

RE: William Logan
I believe the York Heritage Trust library has transcripts from Old Roundhill recorded in the 1930's. I'll check on my next visit. The Trouts are in my family way back...

John Warford
I have been to the (OLD Warford Cemetery) twice.
Directions: It would be hard for me to tell you how to get there.
I live in north central Oklahoma.
Willard Warford showed how to get there. It is way off any rode. Also it is on private property.
The tombstones are readable but you would need to take a wire brush and some chalk to outline the letters.

RE: Shock Cemetery
It could possibly be the same cemetery, but I do not know. I took photos for all the markers that I could find and didn't come across the "Welch" surname, though.

There's a website created by Kristina Krumm that has this cemetery listed. I wonder if she might be able to help with the "Downs Graveyard" naming? ->

James T Kidwell
Hi cousin! James Thomas Kidwell is also my 7th great grandfather! I'd be very interested in speaking to you about him, and comparing research and notes. Another distant cousin and myself have been searching for the ware plantation, and actually believe it to be more north of Morgantown... actually off of Rt. 5 in Charles/St.Mary's county, starting near Cedarville st. forest, near Devils Nest (a creek) down to Chalk Point. I have a hand drawn map that a cousin came across, and oddly enough, my brother just purchased some land within the triangle we believe to be his land. I'm sure you're on Ancestry, my name there is genstore99 . Drop me a message!

RE: Zedekiah Wood
this is my first go around, I'm doing well with Zedekiah and Zekediah. I offered to edit the virtual record, I'm still waiting on the hardcopy . I so surely do appreciate you tweeking the data. Perhaps once the graves get a flow the younger ones can plug in their branches. {honestly my grandmother would be insane if she saw the voids in even our closest of kin} I need to get a copy of my grandfather's obit on his memorial and and and .......
I was looking for the connects Zedekiah>james>john >elza appreciate that so very much too xxoo - also when I get alice's DAR info i can give you a correct answer on that oh my gosh I have lots to get up on here.
