I received your message and yes I am related to Caroline Comnick, she is my 2x Great Grandmother. I see you have put a birth & death date correction and a name correction request in to her Find A Grave memorial. I also requested this information to be updated over a year ago and had no response from the contributor. I am wondering if this contributor is no longer managing their memorials.

I'm not "harassing" you.
You weren't interested in information I sent you. You wanted a death certificate. You don't need a death certificate. All the information is there for you in an easy to access way.
You have many veterans memorials in National cemeteries. Well, many people are working hard to link them to spouses and children also in the cemetery. It adds additional work when one finds a memorial in a national cemetery without the pertinent information.
Sending a note stating you have a wrong death date, and supplying the easy to access website to verify this fact, does not constitute "harassment".

Well, perhaps if you would spend the extra few seconds accessing the VA's website and look up you entries on the Nationwide gravesite locator, you wouldn't have all these memorials at Ft Snelling that are missing birth dates, plot locations, middle names, and in some cases, a date of death.
And in the case of Roger Janke ... a wrong year of death.
Of course, this could be easily solved if you were to request a photo of his tombstone, but you can't, because you haven't made any attempt to properly enter the memorial for this veteran in a National Cemetery.
So spare me the nonsense about a death certificate.
The VA's website is conveniently located on the cemetery page. And it's free to use. What more could you ask for ?
There is zero excuse for a veterans memorial in a National Cemetery to be missing a plot location, which all of yours are, zero excuse for missing a birthdate, which most of yours are, zero excuse for missing a death date, which many of yours are.
Instead of being stubborn, why not meet the full responsibility you assumed when you entered a memorial for a veteran ?
Use the VA's website for Ft Snelling, and use the nationwide gravesite locator provided. It's easy and it's free. And that's your responsibility.
Hello, I have been searching for my grandmothers family and Leo McCoy has the same birthdate as a Leo McCoy that was born 08 Jun 1933 in Kern County, California, to Lee McCoy and Grace Davis and I wanted to inquire if there was a birth record on file for this Mr. McCoy. I noticed that every announcement that I could find of his passing did not mention any family members. I also want to apologize in advance if this is something if I am not allowed to inquire about as I have not completed this type of research before. Thank you for any information or guidance that you are able to supply.

I updated this memorial. If you are familiar with the family line, please take a look at husband Elmer Althaus' memorial 55711002.
I added a note regarding linking to a couple that "might" be his parents buried in Dodge County, Minnesota. There is enough similarity for me to think it "might" be them but I do not link unless I have source documents to support that conclusion.
Will you please transfer Hattie Buck Garey # 120591181 buried in Glenco City, MN cemetery to me?
