RE: Woodrow Farley Baisden, Jr
Tammy, FYI. The Baisden Cemetery on Whitman Creek across from Tom & Valeria Baisden's old homestead, on the hill has had a road graded to it. My brother was laid to rest there last year.

Hello Tammy. Thanks for posting for this baby. Do you know this family? How did you find her name since her death cert simply says "infant". Also to tell you that her sister, Belinda Darlene/Darline Maynard Find A Grave#130762289's tombstone has been located in our family cemetery, Baisden Cemetery on Whitman, Logan,WV. This cemetery is located on the side of a mountain across from the Baisden Homestead. Thanks, Brenda (brenda9995@gmail.com)

Tammy, just to update you. The Baisden Cemetery at Whitman, WV (up on the hill) now has a graded road leading up to it. My niece and her family are caring for it and have cleared much debris away as well.

pictures of grave markers
Hi, Tammy. I notice that you have supplied photos for a number of graves in Logan Co. I have had requests in for some time for the following in our family: Lucy #86645710, her daughter Bertha #86517566 and husband Fred #84438524, her daughter Mary #86648447,and her daughter Cora #89562803. If you are in those cemeteries I would really appreciate your taking pictures of the graves. I am unable to travel that far or I would love to see places I visited years ago. By any chance are you a family member? Thanks, Judy Tear, Roanoke,VA

RE: Ronda Damron (Cityview)
Hi Tammy,
Thanks for your response and your reply on my aunt Ronda Damron, and I will let you know what we find in September when we visit the cemetery. Most of my family was from Pike co area but I'm told that all of the Damron's are related to a degree.
Not sure what you mean by transfering her memorial to me but I am fine with whatever you decide.
Again, I appreciate your efforts and the same to other volunteers.

Ronda Damron (Cityview)
Hi, I recently found out about my aunts grave that is located in the Cityview cemetery in Logan. My other aunt told me that she couldn't find the marker a few years ago and I planned to come to Logan in september to look for it myself. Someone told me to try to do some searching online and when I found the Cityview cemetery I was happily surprised to see that she was listed. Does that mean that she has a headstone? I saw your name attached to her memorial and thought you might be able to tell me something about her grave and if she might have a ledgable marker, or if they at least know the location where shes buried.
Her name is Ronda Damron and she was born 4-1-1940 and died 9-2-1942. We would be very happy to learn that her grave is at least marked so we can bring flowers and visit her site for the first time ever. Thanks in advance, Ron Damron

Tammy, Thanks for bringing the date descrepancy to my attention. I have corrected Find A Grave because I believe in documentation, however, I am somewhat confused. I took the dates off the tombstone, but time could have affected it. People error? Not sure, but I will double check it next summer, if I can manage to climb that hill. Why people bury their on mountainsides, I'll never know. I had total hip replacement in Feb, but I will try to physically check it. Anyway, thanks again for letting me know of the descrepancy.
