Hi Barry,
My name is Donna Gustinis and I am doing research on the Pankey family. I am also interested in Find a Grave and use numerous resources for this information.
The picture of Willima Hampton Pankey's tombstone is a beautiful picture. You indicated that William Hampton and Sarah Pankey had 7 children.
I have information in my family tree that William and Sarah had 11 children; Emily C., Eliza Jane; Martha E., Benjamin Franklin; Robert L.; Mary E.; Thomas Jefferson; Alice A., John; Carrie; and Lenora. At least 8 of them are buried in Bankston Cemetery. Benjamin Franklin died in Santa Fe, New Mexico and I have no idea where Carrie and Lenora are buried.
If you have any information, please let me know. They are distant relatives of mine and I think you may be too as I have at least 30 members of the Vinyard family in my family tree.
