I am 60+ yrs. old, have lived in the south all my life till moving in 2007 from NC to Las Vegas, Nv. I've always loved family history but never delved into it seriously untill 2003; am now completely hooked on it. I have received much help, and love helping others. Most of my family lines are from all over the south starting out in Virginia and NC and the majority now are in Alabama and Georgia and some in Texas. I enjoy hearing from other lovers of genealogy.|

Hello. I just updated Grandpa's memorial. As far as I am concerned, this puts an end to the Dad Augustine versus Dad Ambrose controversy.
I invite you to read the memorial if you should be interested.

You are very welcome! Yes, you can use the photos for your family tree. I also put on a few more photos on the Prince's memorials in Greenwood Cem. So happy you enjoyed the photos. Carla :)

Abigail, I just want to let you know I posted some photos of the Prince Family in Greenwood Cem. in Wheeling, WV. I saw that you left flowers and a note on their memorials, so I thought maybe you would like to see their stones. Carla :)

Yes, by marriage. Through Retzers mostly, though all those Nothweiler families, including the Daubers etc are related. Kindelbergers were residents in the tiny village of Nothweiler Germany, having left the Bernese Oberland. 1600's I think.

I believe I am related via Richard Tydings.....down the line a Tydings married a French who had a daughter who married a Brookhart and so on. I am seeking documentation etc. for DAR. I live in Phoenix, Az now, but will be in Baltimore next week doing research. Whatever you can share greatly appreciated.

I saw your flower on her page; are you related to the Lyles of Robert James Lyles and Mary Hutchison, of Sumner Co. and Nashville, TN?

Thank you for writing me. My granddad Hobert Pelham was a firefighter in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is being placed on the firefighter wall of valor here in Oklahoma City Oct 6, 2013 @ 1pm. It will be a full honor memorial open to the public. It is next to the firefighters museum. He went out on a fire Sept 6, 1934 the pile battery fumes over took him. His lungs was burned, he never recovered. So he lost his life months later due to the fumes in his lungs.
