Naomi Hosale Vicks FAG 99394449
Hello Fay,

The information given to me for Naomi's memorial was on a list of Cedar Grove graves from another Find A Grave volunteer who had been photographing headstones. What I found often times that information on the the DC indicates one cemetery when in fact burial was changed to another. I will also contact the cemetery for confirmation.

I am not related to Hosale or Vicks. Would you like me to transfer this memorial once burial is confirmed?

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Thank you so much for the information on the Thomas family edits! I verify all changes/edits that are submitted to me and it makes it SO much easier when thoughtful people like you submit the proof along with the edits. THANK YOU!! People don't realize how much time it takes to verify the information they submit edits for.

Walter Henry Meador & Alta
After looking back at other pictures of this family, I believe also that this is the wrong picture for Walter Henry and Alta. Due to the timeframe in which this picture was made and the age of the people in it, I believe that this is more that likely a brother to Henry's dad, Ira Debow. I don't have any other pictures of Henry's siblings. I have pictures of his dad's siblings. I will have to take a much closer look at those. I do have a picture of Ida Debow and his wife at an earlier date and this looks a lot like them later in life. Sorrow for the mix-up but thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Walter Henry & Alta Meador
Hi Fay
This picture came from Bobbie Sue Meador Sims. Her grandmother was Belle Meador, a sister to Henry. It was written on this picture several years ago that this was their identity. That has been at least 20 years ago. I also have a snap shot of Henry and Alta made several years later. Although his face is fuller and hers is more slim, they still look like the first photo. I also have some photos of Henry's siblings, and the resemblance is there. I hope this helps. Thanks for getting in contact with me.

Hello Fay;

Thank you so very much & also to your friends the Waggoners for the great new pictures.
Yes, I'd love to have the additional pictures you spoke of.
If you don't already have my email, just click on Adam Teele's son Peter Teel (# 104695102), I'm the owner of his memorial.

Thanks again for your great work!!
Sincerely

"" Below is a family biography included in The History of Smith County, Tennessee published by Goodspeed Publishing Company in 1887. These biographies are valuable for genealogy research in discovering missing ancestors or filling in the details of a family tree. Family biographies often include far more information than can be found in a census record or obituary. Details will vary with each biography but will often include the date and place of birth, parent names including mothers' maiden name, name of wife including maiden name, her parents' names, name of children (including spouses if married), former places of residence, occupation details, military service, church and social organization affiliations, and more. There are often ancestry details included that cannot be found in any other type of genealogical record.""
