RE: Mann family
Hi Phil,
I saw the death certificate you added on William Mann. I am totally puzzled by the information compared to the information I have from I also saw the obit posted. My sister & I got that from the Leechburg museum. The death certificate and the obit do not coincide with the ancestry information. I want to know if you are descended from William Mann through his son Samuel and his daughter Bessie. If so than we are KIN!. The ancestry info says he was born in Bucks co in 1835, died in 1920, parents are Joseph and Nancy Mann. The death certificate and obit give different Information. The ancestry info is wrong so I deleted it from my ancestry family tree. I tracked the W. Mann from the 1850 Bucks co census and found him on the 1860 census still in Bucks co, married with one child. Our William Mann is on the 1860 census living in Indiana Co married to Mary Jane with 2 children. You can find it on the same page as her parents William and Susan Fry, even though the writing and spelling is hard to make out. Could you help me in this situation as I am passing my family history down through the family and I need to know all information is correct. Please let me know what you think of this and if you could help correct it. thank you.

Linking - new method
Linking people requests can be a done by going to edit on right hand side of memorial and click and proceed to what you want changed. SAVES EMAILS.
I don't check emails maybe once a week- with edit posts - I check more often. It goes to contributor's page and on top gives edit requests people leave. MUCH EASIER THAN EMAILS.

Thanks for cropping the photo. It's a pet peeve of mine but it sure makes the memorial look a lot better.

I have added the information to this memorial that you suggested. I request that you remove the death certificate that you uploaded, crop the pic so that there is no black boarder showing and upload again. Thanks in advance.

Mann family
my great uncle is Bessie's father, Samuel L. Mann.
He died in 1948. I recently started doing family research on the Mann side of my family and was so happy to find this picture of his first wife Bessie and his only child. Samuel was my grandmother Sarah's brother. I know nothing of the siblings of Sarah. I do realize Samuel and Bessie were divorced and they both remarried. Would you have any information on him or any photos Bessie might have had? But most important to me is did Bessie have a relationship with her father, was he part of her life? I would appreciate anything you could tell me. Please reply even if you know nothing. I also appreciate your time.

I've still been trying to locate your original list, which I'm sure those are on microfilm at the library. I just haven't had the time to get there yet.

Whoops - too bad we can't edit our public messages - I don't manage Susannah's of course, so you will need to email me if you still want a photo of her location in reference to her husband's.

You asked me to reference her location based on her husband's space. If you know where her husband's stone is in the cemetery, it is right below. If you look at her photo, imagine right above her is her husband's stone. If you still want the photo let me know via Susannah's edit tab. :)
