Hi Judy, Thanks for helping with the photo requests at LNC as they go a long way toward helping document our veterans' selfless contributions to America. I've been working in the L surnames and appreciate anything you can request in whatever letter you choose. Take good care, Mary Ann

Thomas Stanley
On Thomas' memorial, #67574093 you say "Information from Harold and Chariton, page 490." Could you please tell me what "Harold & Chariton" means? Is it a book and if so where could one look at it? I've been all over the Purvis Cemetery and there is no headstone that I could find and it would be nice to see a record that states Thomas is, in fact, buried there. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

RE: John E Husted
There are five or so within a 2 mile radius of Milan. There is no 'city' cemetery. They are all owned and kept up privately. The largest is Oakwood, which I know very well. There is no stone for him there. The other cemeteries are well documented, too, by friends of mine.

I'm going to try to find an obit at the public library for him. This will help. I'm also contacting the local funeral home to see if they know anything about his burial.

I knew this would be a puzzle and I'm willing to help you with it.
