My husband and I grew up in central Indiana and currently live in Indianapolis area. We've been doing genealogy for about 6 years and have traveled extensively around the country tracing our families and their burial sites. We have been doing cemetery walking in central Indiana area since February, 2009 and love it. We are both retired and are able to spend a lot of time doing what we love.

I am getting a lot of requests that don't have a member id# or links to the memorials. Therefore, I will no longer make change requests without this information.

Hi Susan, I was wondering if you would transfer Wayne Coy Donica to me. He is my fathers brother.

Thank You,

Susan, I just sent you a couple of links for my g-grandfathers (Elmer Kirk) parents. You could also link him to his first wife, Agnes Fields Kirk, who is buried in the same cemetery. I would be happy to take over his memorial page if it's OK with you.

Thanks, John Kirk #48738429

Pike family
You have taken some pictures of the Pike family in the Lewsiville cemetery in Lewisville Indiana, may I have your permission to copy those for the family tree? Thanks so much.

RE: Lowreys
Thank you for responding to my requests for the Lowerys. I am aware in general of Find A Grave's transfer policies and apologize for neglecting to mention the connection.

Recently you had transferred FREDERICK LOWERY 1789-1876, Sugar Grove Methodist Cemetery, to me on the basis that he was the father of my David Frederick Lowery. The Lowery men for whom I have requested transfers this time (F.P., Isaac, Philander, and Henry), are also children of FREDERICK LOWERY and therefore brothers to my David Frederick Lowery.

I appreciate your reconsideration of these new Lowery requests. Thanks once more,
Sheila #48084236

Susan, I agree the obits really make the memorials! I've read some tragic ones and some very touching. You get a little glimpse of that person's life and achievements. I believe any kind of info on family members will also help some person, who is working on their genealogy, possibly find a missing link! Thank you for the credit for each obit, it's very much appreciated.

William Graham

Kent Kooi and I have been researching the men of the 4th Iowa Cavalry for over three years, and in addition to updating their memorials, we are preparing a presentation to donate to several Iowa county historical societies. William served with Co L 4th Iowa Cavalry prior to serving with the 153rd Indiana Infantry. We would like to ask permission to use your headstone photo of William Graham on his page in our presentation. We would credit the photo as "Courtesy of Susan Clemons." Please let me know, and thank you for taking and uploading the photo of his headstone.

Hi Susan,

I see on Find A Grave that you took the photos of Don Hollan's gravestone in Batson cemetery in Henry County, South Section - Find A Grave Memorial# 48060489

Don's widow, Kay LaBoyteaux Hollan, is GR Grandaughter of my Grandfather and Grandmother Lena Rent LaBoyteaux b1870 - d1944 and Edgar LaBoyteaux b1867 d1943 who both died in Henry County Indiana. Their son, Kay's Grandfather, Daniel H LaBoyteaux 1895 1966 also of New Castle, Indiana, was the only sibling of my Father William Henry LaBoyteaux - Find A Grave Memorial# 24473513 .

My family moved south to Texas and Louisiana in the late 40's away from our northern relatives. My siblings and I have not known the northern LaBoyteaux's (though I once did meet Kay), so we have no northern family contacts to discuss ancestors with.

I have been trying to find where/what cemetery Lena LaBoyteaux and Edgar LaBoyteaux and their son Daniel H LaBoyteaux are buried in. I thought they would have been buried in Batson in Henry County where so many other LaBoyteaux's are buried but I've searched the Henry County Genealogy web site and have not found them in Batson or any Henry County cemetery.

I am hoping to make Find A Grave a memorial's for the three and link them together to my Father 's memorial.

If you spot the three graves in Batson or other cemeterys, please take photos and contact me.
