Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am happy to review SAC (edits) but if you send them I am not notified by findagrave, so please leave me a message that I have an edit and findagrave will send me an e-mail. Also please leave them there for a while. I saw a few but didn't have the time to research them and then they disappeared...

I am happy to share and meet new relatives. I work better behind the scenes. I have found that in trying to help others in one way or another I often help myself later.

In the 1990s I went to the LDS Salt Lake Library to make corrections (on my ancestors) to the Ancestral File which became FamilySearch. One had to reference the proof for the correction. I have other strengths, but I am not that great at finding the burial places...but I am working on that as I learn from other people on findagrave.

Most of the surname genealogies that I have ever seen do not list the burial place.

On My Barrett/Ferguson/Skaggs/Hoffman Line I have many unidentified photos that I would like to compare with other relatives family photos.

On the Jones/Frost/Lindsley/Brett side of my family there a few unidentified photos that I would like to compare with other relatives family photos.

RE: Love Kingsbury
This gravestone had been difficult to locate because a good part of it was in the ground. Most of the gravestones in this old section of the cemetery were removed in the 1950's by well intentioned men so the field could be cleared of overgrowth, etc.
They were placed back in nice neat rows and many had to be placed deeper in the ground due to being broken, etc. There is an effort underway to better record and photograph these old stones so a team is working row by row cleaning, recording inscriptions and photographing with the ultimate goal of making a map for this section of Plains Cemetery. Glad I could be of help to you.

You are welcome. They are also many great grandparents of mine. It is always great when you can put enough pieces together to make another link.

RE: Bertha de Ferrers-Furnival Bigod
Hello Billie

Glad you like the photos of Greyfriars. I will probably go back there sometime and take some more photographs as it seems, from the research I've done of the area, that in about 50 years or so very little of the area will remain. Dunwich is on the Suffolk coast and in the 13th century a lot of the town disappeared under the sea after a three day storm! Over the years erosion has claimed more and more of the coastline. There is one gravestone left on the cliffs from the All Saints church - the church and the graves have all been claimed by the sea over the last 100 years. This gravestone is very near the cliff entrance to Greyfriars so who knows how long it will last. I will let you know when I go and pass on whatever photographs I take.

My husband is related to the de Ferrers by marriage. William who died 1190 in Acre was married to Goda DE TOENI and Sybilla DE BRAOSE we think - so many names the same it's quite difficult sometimes to make sure we have the right families - anyway Vic is related to Goda DE TOEN who was his 23 x great aunt.

I'll be in touch with you and Steve when I get more photos.

Linda
