RE: Eleanor Beving Houghtaling VanderVliet
Stacy,

Why does the S.S. Death index you sent say that Elenora was born in 1889? I'm trying to figure out if the person you are mentioning is the same person that is on my memorial. My Eleanor VanderVliet was born in 1879 in Fort Plains, New York, according to her obituary. Also the information that I had found a few years ago said that she was married to a man named William Houghtaling on Sept. 5, 1898 in Milwaukee, Wisc. and that her maiden name was Beving, with her parents being Rudolph Beving and Aberdeen Schwartz. This was before she married the widower Jacob VanderVliet. How sure are you that this is your relative? I would like to get this correct, what ever it is supposed to be. Does the name of her step grand daughter (Mrs. Calvin DeYoung)in her obituary ring a bell to you?

Thanks,
G.D.Y.

RE: Eleanor Beving Houghtaling VanderVliet
Stacy,

Hello. Eleanor Vandervliet was a sister in law of my great grandmother, but I don't know anything about her, because she was the second wife of Jacob Vandervliet. I have located her obituary and added the new information to her F.A.G. page. I have also added the obituary. If you want to see it just go to the page.

I hope this helps you,

G.D.Y.

Aunt Ethel
(115012551) Stacy would you like your Aunt Ethel's Memorial? I would be happy to transfer it to you. I was going out this summer to take pictures of headstones in Van Hornesville and would be happy to add to the memorial for you.

Nelson Jump
Hi Stacy,

My name is Rhiannon. Nelson is also the GGF of my husband, Jason Jump. I am working on a family tree on Ancestry and would like to know if you have any info on Nelson's father and grandfather. I have a census that shows his father AND GF were named Ananias, but there is another one that shows a William as Ananias's father (Nelson's GF).

Any info you have would help tremendously! Also, if you have any family photos, we would love to see them!

Thank you,
Rhiannon (Jump)

Hi Stacy,
Would you like to maintain the memorial for Delos Maxfield #68993793 buried at Fort Plain cemetery? I saw the note you left about him; I am not related to Delos. Please let me know.

RE: flag on my great granfathers grave
Hi Stacy,

I realize you wrote this note to me in 2013. Have you ever found the answer? If not, I will look into it for you.

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.
