I am researching the following surnames: CORMENY, FREY, HOOVER/HOVER, JENKINS, LITZ, POOLE, UDEY, WILLBRAND. Most are from northeastern U.S., especially New York State and Pennsylvania. German ancestors are from Westphalia and Würtemberg.|

Hi, please link Asel to his parents; Father # 144184034; Mother #144189793; Thank you
I looked at the actual burial book of records at Woodlawn today and the Elmira graves they have being buried on this date is 2 months old and not someone who would have been 87 years old. Death date was the same in the book as on the Find a Grave memorial.

I did the best I could to get a clear picture of the dates. Also for Elmira Graves, the office has information for a person who is 2 months old and not in her 80's.

I am sorry to hear of your mishap and I hope you are well on the mend! You didn't send me on any wild goose chase--I enjoy trying to help folks find their family. Sometimes though it just doesn't work out the way we'd hoped.
|Renee Arnold||ANNA POOLE CHILCOAT, etc.|
I am sorry to say that after substantial time in the cemetery today, I have not been able to locate Anna under any of the last names provided. Her son Judson is buried in shall we say a "sparsely populated" area of the cemetery--he and Thelma have very few "neighbors " and if Anna was buried near them with a marker, I would have found it. There is not even any marked Daniels family plot that I can find. Canfield is a smallish cemetery with mostly newer (mid-20th century and later) graves. However, there is the larger and much older, more sprawling Mt. Hope Cemetery back to back with Canfield. At the very top of Mt. Hope are found recent burials--I walked through that too just in case the daughter-in-law was mistaken about which cemetery Anna is in. I found no marker, no Daniels plot there either. I think I have gone as far as I can with trying to find her location. Hopefully your search will lead you to the answer someday.

I did notice when I took Judson Poole's gravestone picture that his widow's maiden name was Arnold, but I don't believe there is a relation to me. My husband's Arnolds were from Wyoming County, PA--Forkston and Mehoopany area, but moved into Bradford Co., PA I think in the early 1920's. It did catch my notice that you said Judson & Thelma had retired to Mehoopany though!
|Renee Arnold||Anna Chilcoat|
I did indeed look around Judson Poole's grave area for Anna Chilcoat when I was at Canfield the other day thinking there might have been a family relation between the two, but to no avail. I will search again under the additional names you provided the next time I go there, probably within a week or so weather permitting.
|Cathy Alton||your email|
I can't find what I did with your email address. Could you post it on my page and I'll delete it.

You're very welcome! I was even confused last night on Fred and Fred! BUT we found him! He's in Assumption. I found 2 obits but I'll have to send them to you as pictures. The darn things won't copy. He died in 1933. I must apoligize that I still haven't renewed the paper yet to get your Willbrand info. That's first on the list when I do! We're planning a Jefferson and Lewis Counties cemetery run so I'm trying to prepare for that. You've done a beautiful job on the memorials! Go ahead and make the memorial for Fred Jr in Woodlawn and I'll delete mine and add the pic to yours, no photo request neccesary. Also you may wanna make a memorial for Fred Sr. in Assumption. There's a guy who takes the photo's there. He does a beautiful job on them. I know you and I love nice grave pics! BTW, I loved the note you attached to your photo requests about the silhouettes, my thoughts exactly!
Have a great afternoon and I'll send those obits in awhile.
Mark is a seperate monument. The other side of the stone is for his wife who is still living.
