I am an avid genealogist and have been researching for my family and friends for over 15 years. Please check out my online database for more information on the people showcased on Find A Grave.
I will gladly transfer any grave that is not my direct ancestor. Some of my "pet" families are the DeCosters and the Shepardsons. I am also researching McGraw, Scofield, Troxell, Yegerlehner, Schiele, and several Mayflower lineages.
I don't care if you copy any my images! I want to share information, not quibble about copyright violations. Facts are not covered by copyright. Knowledge is the key to opening the lives of our ancestors. Please let me know if you are interested in what I have posted. It might be a opportunity to share family information or unearth that missing link. Plus, I probably have a larger sized image (of better quality) that I will email you directly.
If you do take a copy of any of my photographs, please credit me as the source - genealogylady (#47137469) and list Find A Grave as the location in which you found the photograph before posting to another website or family file. It is not only polite, but good genealogical practice. Thank you.
I now have a Facebook page for sharing genealogy advice and research practices. https://www.facebook.com/GenealogyLadyElkGrove
And I just started a blog: www.genealogylady.net
Happy hunting! | |

 | Old Hutsonville I have checked each memorial twice and have sent emails to the owners for the ones that need corrected. I think. There were so many errors I lost track.
I will wait a couple of weeks and check again. I added info to the flowers on some memorials so I could keep track of what needed changed and will delete once corrections are made.
I found about a dozen memorials that belonged in the New Hutsonville Cemetery and had the owners correct them along with many duplicates.
Thanks for your help and together we have this cemetery in great shape.
I will be doing the same for my adopted cemeteries of Kirk, Newlin, and Old Robinson. | | | Boyd-Correll
 | RE: Hutsonville transfers Thanks for the transfers and I am in no hurry. The ones you have done are keeping me busy. Once all the transfers are done I will send updates on the ones you are keeping.
There are a few duplicates that I can't delete since you created them. I will make a request thru the edit function.
There are no Lawhead stones listed in the 1971 records.
Thanks for the help getting this cemetery up to date. | | | Boyd-Correll
 | RE: Duplicate memorial I will let you decide which is easier for you - transfer or make changes. I will be glad to do it either way.
This is one of my adopted cemeteries and most memorials are not my ancestors.
Thanks for helping make the changes the right way. Some people would be upset if I requested 200 changes. | | | Boyd-Correll
 | RE: Duplicate memorial I will be glad to do use the edit function for each memorial but as you noticed I am making changes to most of the memorials for Hutsonville Old Cemetery. I have added all the pictures that was found in a search Oct 2012 and the updates are from the records compiled in 1971.
I did not want to burden you with changing hundreds of records. | | | seekerJay
 | RE: Sylvanus Scofield Thank you very much for your reply. These Scofields can be a pain to sort out, but with an more unusual name like Sylvanus, you'd think it would be a little easier, but no! Onward and upward.....J | | | Gary Eisan
 | Abel & Deborah Bourn On a recent trip to Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson MA, armed with a list of photo request names, I happened upon a stone for "Abel Bourn, son of Abel Bourn and his wife Deborah". I seemed rather segregated from the others. There were 2 or 3 other stones near it that either had no obvious relation to it or were completely unreadable. This section of the cemetery seems to have kept families together, in many cases for a number of generations. A thorough search of the area yielded no results matching your request. I fear the marker may be missing. Sorry. | | | Chip5610
 | RE: Mark & Tabitha Perkins Blooging looks fun. I trust that you are enjoying the process! There are always new ways to keep Genealogy "fresh" and it looks like you found a good one!
