Bio and Links
Bio Photo It is sad to say but as time marches and as family and friends pass on to be with the Lord Jesus, it is all we can hang onto, is the memories.

Always love your family, no matter what.
Never let a disagreement tear you apart.
We may not agree, but still show them your love

"I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Good-bye.."

To find married Daughters and have an idea of where they may be buried you can search cemeteries with a first name only. Who would have though? I found a daughter by searching the parents’ & 1st husband’s cemetery and found the daughter with only the 1st. name.

If I am not able the carry on with Find-A-Grave, I wish my daughter, Diana
to take over and manage the memorials that I manage.

RE: Repair father-in-law photo
Hoosier. He was in Europe. Liberated concentration camps with Patton's Army. My father was in the Pacific, stationed at Guam. THX and God bless our vets!

Repair father-in-law photo
Hoosier you recently repaired a photo of my grandfather and his parents. I wonder if you could help me with a photo of my father-in-law. I've posted the photo on his Memorial page #75674386 George Franklin Brown. In particular there is a white scratch line along the left side of his nose that I'd like cleaned if possible.

RE: Bertha Roach info
You may use the info as you want in Bertha's bio. It is sad that she had such a short life. The death certificates for Bertha and her baby are at Ancestry.com. The newspaper article is "Married Under Difficulties" Worthington Times. October 29, 1897 page 3 c 5.

Bertha Roach
I made a typo for the death date for on Bertha's death certificate. She died in October not April.

CORRECTED:

As to Bertha Roach, she was the daughter of Jesse and Arrabelle. Bertha's grave marker says she was born 3 April 1883 and died 26 October 1902. However, her death certificate says she died 27 October 1902 at 2 a.m., and that she was 20y 5m 24d making her birth calculated 2 May 1882. She died from complications of childbirth. She gave birth to a unnamed son on 2 September 1902. He died of "immature" birth on 5 October 1902.

Bertha was married at 14 or 15 to John Stanton Roach on 23 October 1897. A newspaper article says that John, Bertha and Jesse went to get the marriage license. The clerk, after questioning Bertha's age because she was so small and childish looking, was told Bertha would be 16 the next April. He refused to issue the license because the law said no license was to be issued to a girl younger than 16. They left, but Jesse returned later and filed an affidavit stating Bertha was 16 the previous April. The clerk issued the license and the couple was married.

Bertha Roach
Hoosier, Don't be sorry; you did not offend me. I just did not quite understand your question as I was not the one who attached the parents incorrectly or why it looked like I did. I was just trying to correct it. Hopefully, it will be taken care of soon.

RE: Wilma Rose
I don't understand your message directed to me. I submitted an edit to link Wilma R. Corbin to her correct parents Amos and Shirley Holder since her memorial now shows her linked to her grandparents Jesse and Arrabelle Holder. I did not ask to have Wilma linked or link Wilma to Jesse and Arrabelle.

THANK YOU!!!
... for the site honoring Frances 'Frankie' Wright Bowen. It's wonderful to be able to find the facts and children associated with this family.

As a result of your hard work, I am able to complete most of the information on this family.

Thanks, again.
