A native of Louisville, Kentucky, I've lived since 1998 in the Historic Licking Riverside Neighborhood of Covington directly across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. My primary interest is photographing the surviving Grabinschriften of the German immigrants who settled in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region, especially the members of the Deutsche Pionier-Verein. My grandmother Lou Deitchman Crenshaw, an active member of the German-American Club Gesangverein in Louisville, cultivated in me an interest in our German heritage, and together we researched the families of her 2nd-great-grandfathers, Carl Deutschmann (1800-1869) and Philipp Jacob Deuser (1815-1874). When I lived in the Highlands Neighborhood of my hometown I enjoyed being able to visit St Louis Cemetery where my 4th-great-grandparents, Johann Michael Hillerich (1795-1879) and his wife Anna Apollonia Ritter Hillerich (1799-1876), are buried.|

Todd - Please disregard my edit request for Sir Robert Waterton (#116577932). I need to finish sorting through the data I just got from England before asking for any changes. All very confusing right now...
Thanks and sorry,

I think the cemetery index that I looked at had it marked as no stone. Since you saw one, I will delete that note. If you took a photo of his stone, could you please add it? Thanks.

Thank you so much for photographing the Huber Headstone--so appreciate your efforts!
