I am an avid genealogist and have been researching my family and my husband's family for 35+ years. We have traveled quite a bit to find ways around my "brick walls" and have been to lots of cemeteries and taken lots of pictures. I'm glad to have a chance to share some of this information on Find A Grave. My husband, Jim, deserves credit for all of the pictures as he walks cemeteries with me, patiently cleans and sometimes repairs tombstones, and takes the pictures. |
PLEASE if you find an error or have additional information on any of the people I have posted, email me. I will be glad to make additions and corrections so that the information is as accurate as possible. If I don't make your correction, please remind me a second time.
I am doing Find A Grave work to honor our ancestors and, hopefully, to help others find information on their own ancestors. The pictures that we have taken may be used by families and descendants. However, pictures taken for 19th and 20th Indiana soldiers have been taken for the 19th Indiana web site of Phil Harris and may NOT be posted on other web sites without my permission.
Thanks to all of you who have posted information and photos on Find A Grave. This is a great resource.

I apologize for not adding Samuel parents to his
Family Links before now. I do NOT know how I missed your request! I always get copies of edit
requests I sent out and so I guess I thought your request was one of mine! Something to check up on later......which I did!
I'm so sorry.....but he's all fixed up now!
|Ann West||Grave Photograph|
Thank you so much for the grave marker photo of James P. West's grave in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis. He was my husband's grandfather. He died when my father-in-law was a small child and until very recently, we did not know when exactly he had died and where he was buried. It's comforting to know that he has a marker and is in a beautiful cemetery. I hope that some day we can visit his grave.

Thank you so much for all your information contributed for this family. It filled in many "holes" in my tree. Barbara Tynes Claiborne
Deanna, I have connected Bill to his parents memorials. Than you so much for taking the time to let me know their numbers. Sorry it took me so long to get them on there. Thank you again for helping people trace their genealogy.
