I transfer all memorials of people who are not related to me to other contributors who will take care of them until family requests them. The memorials I have kept are mostly my grandparents or those of my husband and I will not be transferring those.|
DO NOT take my photos without giving me proper credit. You may use my photos on any website or in your own personal records as long as a photo credit is given back to me.
My current project is the Ft. Supply Insane Asylum Cemetery. The Insane Asylum was opened in 1908. There's a long history of mistreatment and abuse of the inmates up until the 60s or so. Inmates were buried with simple concrete markers, the majority of which have been damaged. I have been working with the graves list and have spent an enormous amount of time piecing together stone fragments and matching people to a stone and a lot number. Everyone deserves to be known by someone and many of these people were forgotten long ago.

|Ann Paine Kushner||RE: Wright photo Riley Cemetary|
I had a chance to visit Riley Cemetery for the
first time ever on Tuesday and was very pleased
so see was a beautiful resting place my great grandparents have. Since you must live nearby I am wondering if you would know who is responsible for the upkeep and is there a fund I can contribute to. I love the fence which looks new.
|Jan||Thomas Henry Penick|
I just saw the entry for Thomas Henry Penick and Sarah Frances Twyman Penick. Earlier when I did a check of Lamar County data on Genweb I was unable to find this information even though it said they had all interments listed. Were you able to find the graves? They were my great-great grandparents.

I noticed that your Turnbull headstone was in the background of another picture I took today; so I cropped it, and am getting ready to post it. If at any time someone takes a picture you like better, I will be happy to remove mine.

You have added a photo to his Memorial 46665393 and assume he is related to you. I have some questions as to a sister of his Margaret Elizabeth Penick. If you could I would appreciate a contact so we could discuss this.

You forwarded a bunch of memorials to me a while ago. I have been notified that one is a duplicate of an older memorial. Yours has a photo on it that I wonder if you would please transfer to the other memorial?

|Donna Barnes||Misplaced photo|
On the memorial for Niel NIELSEN (91691999) in the May Cemetery, you accidentally placed a gravestone photo with the name Joy HOWELL. I hope you'll be able to replace it with the one for Niel NIELSEN. Thanks for all of the gravestone photos that you took in the May Cemetery. Good job!!!
|Teresa Ridgley-Wegscheid||Oris Ridgley|
Are you related to Oris Ridgley? He was my great grandfather.
|Terry Wasson||RE: Thomas Bingham-Del Norte|
You're very welcome.

Thank you so much. William's wife, Grace Elizabeth Harrison is my g grandfather's sister. We are all related in some way! Thank you so much! I will send a note to cookie and see if she will transfer.
My cousins and I have linked together over 1,000 people between my father's clan and my mother's clan. I grew up with the Kiser family in OK and interacted with them at family reunions. It is amazing how many people we've lost since we used to have the family reunions every two years.
Thank you for posting a photograph of the grave marker for Sara C. Vance at the Fort Supply, OK hospital cemetery. She was my wife's great-grandmother. We actually live about 40 miles from the cemetery and, until recently, didn't know about her grave.
