Bio Photo This is a Cemetery

Lives are commemorated - deaths are recorded - families are reunited -
memories are made tangible - and love is undisguised.
This is a cemetery.

Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek
information and our heritage is thereby enriched.

Testimonies of devotion, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay
warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life - not death - of a loved one.
The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source
of comfort to the living.

A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and a
sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is
worth loving and remembering - always.

RE: Holmes at Enola Cemetery
Hi Dee, sorry I'm just getting back to you about this! You're right about Albert Curry: he was the husband of Pauline Holmes, daughter of Melvin James Holmes and Suzanne G. (Bretz) Holmes. I see you found his death certificate.

As for Suzella: I have no idea. The only Smiths I have in my family tree right now are too distant to be related to Suzella. I'll keep looking, because if they share a stone they certainly must be related somehow.

RE: Mechanicsburg Cemetery
I have used up my weekly photo requests, but next week I will check for any other pix I would like. We are in southern FL right now but leave on Thursday for south central NE. Sure going to be a shock for us weather wise. I see where you are expected to have snow tomorrow and Saturday. Thanks for all your volunteer work.

What a pleasant surprise to come back from a cruise and see that you had fulfilled my photo requests for Anna Finkenbinder and Margaret Gusler. I greatly appreciate your time and effort.

Knud Helgeson Obituary
Thanks for sending the obituary information. I have added it to his memorial. Would you check the memorial and see if it looks OK. I have never added an obituary before and wasn't sure if I had done it right.

RE: Holmes at Enola Cemetery
Thank you SO MUCH to you and your son for the photos and additional info! The mistranscription resulted in some confusion for me as I traced this branch of my family, which was the biggest reason why I requested the photo! Was also hoping to see who was buried at that spot to help me distinguish between people alive at the same time with the same names, so this really was a great help. Thanks again!!

RE: Mary A George in Enola Cem
I hope to get this relative's memorial transferred to me and I will add that info to memorial. Thank you so much for attempting to fulfill this stone; sad that there is no stone for these relatives. Wishing you a Happy New Year!!!!
