I have been researching the history of Choctaw and Chickasaw Freedmen and continue to find the history remarkable!|
Having freedmen ancestors on my maternal and paternal lines provides me with an unique opportunity to help preserve not only their history but assist other Indian Freedmen descendants rediscover their unique history.
As a "trained" photographer, I'm always impressed with the visual image and how it can have an emotional impact for the researcher and their family. That is why I find this particular effort of various researchers and photographers immensely encouraging and vital as a service for researchers not able to travel to the states and cemeteries where their ancestors and family are interred. I hope to add my humble abilities to this great effort!

Thank you for posting the photo and memorial for Fred N. Clardy #107359439.
He is a cousin of mine. His name was Fred Nathaniel Clardy and was the son of James Lindsey and Bessie Lee Smith Clardy. He was born in Wylie, Collin Co., Tx. 04-25-1924. I have not been able to find a spouse or children for him. I was wondering if you might consider adding the info I have given and link him to his Mother, Bessie Lee Smith Clardy. Her # is 42662427. I have not found the grave of his Dad as of yet.
Thanks for your help.

Thank you for updating her memorial and adding the relationship links for her parents David Weder Jr. and Emma Wildhaber.
Thank you so much for transferring Arley and Madelle Bough. Thank you for helping people like myself find family connections that would be impossible without the help of volunteers like yourself.

Hello there! I am sorry I am just getting back to you. My husband and I have been out of town. I will be going out to the cemetary this weekend to finish up taking pictures and will add the information. Thank you again for allowing me to do this. Family history is as important to me as it is with you.
