My name is Sharon Gifford Cheek. I am the oldest daughter of Eugene Burton Gifford, Jr. and Betty Potts Gifford. I live near Booneville, Mississippi. Campground Cemetery is located less than one mile from my childhood home. I frequented it as a child captivated by the ancient burials that occurred there. I am a member of Gaston Baptist Church in Booneville, Mississippi. I work as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the Prentiss County School District. I am married to Jeffrey Paul Cheek, originally from Kosciusko, Mississippi (Attala County, Mississippi). Jeff is the son of Joe D. Cheek and Jeanene Crosby Cheek of Kosciusko, Mississippi. Jeff and I are the parents of three children.|

No problem with not finding Robert Whites stone at Carolina Cemetery. Many of those stones were home made and disintergrated rapidly in that era.
Just knowing where Robert was buried is great.

Thank you very much for posting the photo of Doris'
headstone. That certainly confirms my suspicion that she is their daughter. I really appreciate your help.

I wanted to thank you so much for taking such excellent photos of my husbands uncle & aunts grave site. (Forrest Davis - Bethel Cemetery). I will proudly include them in my genealogy work.
I hope I can help someone else as you have helped me. So far someone else in my area claims the requests instantly, but my day will come to give back.
Sincerely, Sheila Davis
