Bio and Links
Bio Photo Currently working on several trees. Born in Tampa, Florida, raised in Bayside, Queens County, New York City, New York, currently living in Northern New Jersey. Retired in 2008.
On my mother's side there are Irish and German immigrants (mid 1800s) who lived and raised families in the New York City area. My grandmother on my father's side is the link that makes me a direct descendant of Edward Doty who came over on the Mayflower in 1620. There are generations of colonizers and pioneers on this side. My family on my father's side were pioneers who went from New England to Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Iowa and finally into the western states. I am trying to organize everything for future generations and to honor my ancestors who have been forgotten and struggled greatly to just to survive.

I WILL GLADLY TRANSFER MEMORIALS TO RELATIVES OF ANYONE WHO I HAVE ADDED, PROVIDING THE INDIVIDUAL IS NOT PART OF MY OWN CLOSE FAMILY. PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB ON THE MEMORIAL PAGE TO REQUEST TRANSFERS. YOU MAY ALSO USE ANY PHOTOS THAT I HAVE TAKEN FOR YOUR FAMILY TREES, ETC.
PLEASE USE THE NEW "EDIT" TAB ON YOUR PROFILE PAGE TO REQUEST CHANGES, CORRECTIONS AND ADDITIONS ON MEMORIALS THAT I HAVE POSTED.
THANKS

RE: The Doty Family - Orchard Street Cemetery
Hi Ken -
Thanks for your responses and updates. Have you heard from my colleague, Judy Miller? She was going to send you some info. I'm leaving for vacation - be back 9/22. Hope to see you at Dining With The Departed on 10/4! It should be great fun.

William Bonnorjelf
Hi Ken - I've deleted my William Bonnorjelf page and sent an edit to the person who originated his page so that they correct the spelling of the last name. Thanks! Joan S.

Paul Doty - Dover NJ
Hi Ken -
I am on the Board of the Orchard Street Cemetery and we are planning a fundraiser for October 4, which includes a tour of the cemetery and "talks" with some of our residents.

We were going to include Paul Doty but there is sketchy info of a biographical nature - other than the fact that he was married twice. And that both of his wives are buried within his mausoleum.

Could you verify that both wives are indeed buried with him in the vault? And if you have their names, that would be great.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

RE: GILDONE
Good Morning.
Thank you for your quick response to my request regarding Elizabeth Gildone. She is my mother and
my father was Leverne Peterson. I do not have a
sister Ester, sorry, must be a different line. My
Peterson line has a very interesting history if
you would like to check that out at some time.
There was a name change back in the Revolution
Days that is somewhat fun to read.
Thanks again. Norma Tyler

RE: PHILLIP HILL 80614048
Hi Ken-what I can do is just make the change, but then I'll put your name in for supplying the data. When I get corrections, I do the research myself to confirm if its correct, if the data is correct that folks give me, then I just make the change. But I have to say, I couldn't find anything on the Hills.
As far as Mary Stannard 80949290, I'm really stumped on that one, because her gravestone says she was born in 1840, and you are asking me to change her birth date to a different date! I'm just wondering if perhaps this is the wrong Mary Stannard? I still have to do some research on her...Bear with me! Irma
