RE: Humbert Hays at Dayton Memorial
Hi Phil, I was recently at Dayton Mem Pk and took some photos. Humbert and his wife's graves were among those I photographed. There was no memorial for Carrie so I created one and linked them. Since you had a lot of info in Humbert's bio, I thought you might be related. If you'd like Carrie's memorial just let me know and I'd be happy to transfer it to you. Thanks, Pat

RE: Veatch
I have been to Dugansvill several times to the Mt Hebron cemetery but I have not found any Veatch names there. Looks like you found a Veatch Cemetery. Do you know if there is a stone? The family Veatch had a lot of children. (By the way, Ludwell was a Cornish name, ELiza's brother and several other family members were named Ludwell normally with Carter as a middle name.I show:

James Veatch
Martha S Veatch 1830 1918
Mary Veatch 1834
Merrit Veatch 1836
Ludwell Veatch 1839
Hester Veatch 1840
John Veatch 1842
Andrew Veatch 1844
George D Veatch 1847
Eliza Veatch 1849
William Veatch 1850
Amanda Veatch 1852
Lucy Elen Veatch 1855

Veatch
My Great Great Great grandfather's first daughter married Elevan Veatch. I am doing research on family history and adding graves to findagrave.com

Veatch Cemetery
Do you know where the Veatch Cemetery is located? Duncansvill became Dugansville I think.

RE: Sabina Crespo
Sabina Crespo is my great-great-great-grandaunt (3ggaunt). Crespo DuPont is my first cousin 4 times removed (1c4r). So, Phil would be my 3c2r. Are you Allie, Katie, or Ellen (they posted virtual flowers on Sabina's memorial)? Are we related?

It's good that there is a book about the DuPont family. :-) Is a copy of that book available for purchase? Or could you at least send me a scan of the page referring to Sabina's death?

Is Paul Crespo DuPont a descendant of Sabina? I know that Crespo Victorino DuPont had 3 children: Bena, Ben, and Maggie. I have their birth and death info, but I don't have their marriages or descendants. I don't have any info about the descendants of Crespo's brother Ben. Is there a source for your reference to Crespo and his brother Ben being in KY in 1873?

Concerning Peter Milton DuPont's burial, I haven't heard back from the St Augustine Diocese yet. I sent them a 2nd email.

Sabina's brother Manuel Leon Crespo was born 11 Apr 1844 in St Aug and was christened at the Cathedral Basilica of St Augustine on 19 Apr 1844. He is her only brother, as for as I know; the youngest in the family. He died young and is not listed in the 1850 census. He's likely buried in St Aug, possibly in the Tolomato cemetery. The listing for the cemetery is very incomplete and there are very few headstones compared to the hundreds that are buried there. Is there any information about him in the book? Does the book have any information about my 3ggmother Catalina?
