Unknown we are to each other...through time our paths have crossed...so as we visit one to another...know as family you shall never be lost.
I consider Cemeteries to be outdoor museums.
I am proud to be referred to as "The Family Historian."
THE CEMETERY PHOTOGRAPHER
Wandering among the stones I see
The stones so weathered and worn
‘Tis difficult to find the date
On which the babe was born
I stare at the stone and am struck with awe
At the life that I knew was gone
This was someone's child, a babe so sweet
With loved ones to carry on
So I take a photo for all to see
For the family that remains
An everlasting memory of
A child of God's domain
I brush the weeds back from the stone
And say a silent prayer
For the babes that had no chance to live
And for mothers everywhere
The dove calls out it's mourning song
Among the stones so still
Echoes of the woes, through time
The choirs of despair
The stone will someday perish
The flowers will be gone
But a photo now remains of this
Their memory lives on!
And so my friend, don't hesitate
To film the weathered stone
Those who live within your hearts
Are never truly gone

My pleasure. Example of why we are all in this effort together. Have a great day. Judy
|rosie mcnaughton||Hi Donna,|
I'm so sorry for the loss of your good friends. I know it will leave a hole in your heart.
|Gracie's Grammy||Robert Grushus|
He is buried in this national cemetery. Perhaps his wife is also there.

It's not working very well for me either. Don't know who to contact. I just wait awhile and try again.
|Mark Utley||RE: Hey Mark|
Hi Donna, cannot say I've had an issue with that...you could e-mail them at: firstname.lastname@example.org and let them know about the issue.
All my best, Mark

Nope, not recently. Have been working on a lot of my family lines and I leave my computer on 24/7 except last night my computer went through an automatic update and killed all my open tabs!! Now to figure out who I was last working before I went to bed this morning at 5 a.m.! So until that hour everything was working fine on Find A Grave.

I haven't been using it...but I have had a lot of problems with findagrave in general lately... not sure if it is the website...my internet connection..or just me!
|Susan Daniel||Joseph Haegan - Fairfield CA|
I am a photo volunteer and had been tasked with taking a pic of Joseph Haegen thought to be buried in Fairfield Cemetery. I thought I would drop you a line to let you know I spoke to a wonderfully helpful woman in the Fairfield Cemetery office named Josephine. We spent some time looking for Mr. Haegen, and we have determined a few things. First, his wife Emma is located in Plot 174 Grave 2. Second, Joseph is NOT in Grave 7, that has another individual in it. 3. Josephine cannot locate any information that he is in fact buried in that cemetery. He does not show up in any of their records or database.
Not sure how you might want to update the plot info on this memorial, but thought I would provide you with some details.

Thanks great use of Find A Grave I am sure at some time her cremains will be interred there sometimes the family hold onto the cremains until a later date when they can get together or the other partner passes, I thank you for the respectful way you addressed this memorial contribution its good to be able to work with another Find A Grave member by good communication as you are no doubt aware this doesn't, always happen, I hope we may be able to work together in the future .
Thanks again Vaughan
