I have a great interest in Genealogy.I am researching the Edwards,the Acton's and Alton's and Nuckowski's. |
I have a interest in military stones and the stories behind the special soldiers.Our Home town veteran's, all veteran's should be honored.
*Remember Those Lost and Harmed While Serving Their Country. Also Remember Those Who Have Served And Returned; and for those presently serving in the Armed Forces.
As a youngster I worked on the restoration of overgrown cemeteries and found an interest at these sites.
Taking pictures of the head stones is a stroll through time from the dates and wondering whom these people were.

Wonderful, thank you Bruce for the photo.
|Margaret Rose||RE: William Harold Kindree|
Thank you for taking the photo of William's grave marker and putting it on his memorial. Thanks also for letting me know about the date being wrong ... I've corrected it. It certainly isn't a bother so if you see any mistakes I've made on others please let me know. Thanks again.

you are very welcome
|Aunty Dud||Pvt Matthew Albert "Mack" Tuckwood|
Thank you for this memorial, Bruce. Pvt Tuckwood was my great-grandmother's nephew and I don't think the current generations of my immediate family knew of his death in WWI. I have added him to our virtual cemetery for our extended family in Ontario. I will offer some family info later that you can add to the page. Thanks!

You are most welcome Bruce and if this soldier is one of your ancestors then I would be happy to transfer his memorial...Regards Lyne.
