Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retied law enforcement officer from England and have married my second wife who is from Colorado where we now have made our home.
I am currently a volunteer for both FAG and the local Pueblo Library, The Pueblo Library has an extensive obituary index for local deaths from the Pueblo Chieftain which can be accessed via the library website once on the home page just select search and select Obituary index, the service is free via E mail or a small charge is made if you want a hard copy. We are also developing birth and marriage records which are not available online yet.
I am currently compiling a list of Vets from the Pueblo Area this will be available in the Special, Collections are at the library.

RE: Tomlinson
Thank you for doing that. I don't think I would know how to do what you did. It makes me feel better that she could be found under all three names. Kay

RE: Tomlinson
Thank you so much for the explanation about this memorial. That makes more sense to make another memorial page. Is there a place you can put that kind of information, to check the main memorial page? And should I do it? Thanks again for the help, Kay

Hi Vaughn, I have a question for you about one of the memorials that you created. My niece is married to the grandson of Clarice Tomlinson ( 97730241). Anyway, she was married twice and she out lived both husbands by a lot. Anyway, she is listed on Mt. View as Tomlinson, but she is buried by her 1st husband Cawlfield. Wouldn't be better if she was listed under Cawlfield? I thought about at least Cawlfield being put in the maiden name spot so that someone searching for her could find her either place, but then they wouldn't find her if they were looking for her maiden name. Anyway, I'm confused about what to do in a situation like that. Any light on this would help me, Thanks, Kay

Pueblo Genealogy
I just wanted to add a note of thanks for your work in the Pueblo area. Do you belong to the Southeastern Colorado Genealogical Society? Just wondering. I also notice you have a virtual cemetery with links to Civil War vets who are buried at Roselawn Cemetery. If you are interested, you can add my 2nd great-grand uncle, Oliver Hazard Perry Baxter, memorial #111247510 (his portrait hangs on the wall in the Pueblo public library). He and his brothers were known as the "Fighting Baxters" because seven brothers fought in the Civil War (Union) and all seven returned. The only other one buried in Colorado is my 2nd great-grandfather, Alonzo Hayden Hayes Baxter, but he's in LaJunta, not Pueblo. Again, thanks so much for all your work. Becky

RE: Joan C Carara Mihelich
Thank you for your thoughtful note. I would be very pleased if you would transfer Joan's memorial to me. She was my husband's aunt, and we'll all miss her. Regards, Becky Roorda Mihelich

Possible duplicate
Hi Vaughan, I was going through the list of everyone buried in the Beulah cemetery and thought you might want to check this one to see if it might be a duplicate. #82208208 sorry I didn't write the name down. I found a bunch of duplicates and I guess its good to let people know if they have put on a duplicate, is that right?
We used to live in Beulah and so I was curious about some of the people there.
Thanks, Kay

Franklin Pierce Edwards
Hi - I have an ancestor named Franklin Pierce Edwards who you have listed as buried in Pueblo, CO. Do you have a photo of the tombstone I could look at? This one is strange because it shows Frank being born and living his entire life in Iowa and then suddenly he's being buried in Pueblo.

Trying to make two cents out of this... Thanks.

Hi, I was doing some updating on the memorials from Mt View and noticed that there is a duplicate on two in the historic section and thought you might want to remove the one you did because there was another one that was older with more information. Anyway, the one you put on is # 64987230 and the other one is # 29151648. See if they are duplicates. Thanks, Kay
