Bio Photo While posting my family tree, I've also set up some memorials for people who aren't in my family. If you find a relative among them and want a transfer, please let me know. I think family members usually do the best job of tending to the memorials.

I'm in Washington state.

RE: Great headstone photos
You are very welcome, hun. I took photos of all the nearby Hoy's in that ward. I didn't look for Ervins... I do have to run back out and I will swing by there and have a look tho. ;) I did find several little ones that were Hoy's in that ward. I made memorials for them, but haven't had a chance to look them up or who their parents are. I'll let you know if I find any Ervins.

I just made the trs.
It is my understanding that both censuses were done with someone going door to door. Sometimes the resident was not home, and information was taken from neighbors. In other words some information was 2nd hand and were just guesses.
Have a good evening.

Yeah, unfortunately she did not have a formal headstone.

Just search for Edward Dunn in Morris County, New Jersey, and it will come up as a death record.

Edward Doty was a passenger on The Mayflower and he signed the The Mayflower Compact. He is my 7th great grandfather. His son Samuel, my 6th great granduncle migrated to the Piscataway, New Jersey area in the mid 1650s. Anytime, you see the Doty name in New Jersey, that person is probably a direct descendant of Samuel.
I am a descendant of Edward's oldest son, Edward Doty II, my 6th great grandfather. Edward II did not come to New Jersey, rather his descendants stayed in New England and eventually migrated westward to the midwest. Edward Doty II drowned in the Boston Harbor in 1690, along with his son Edward III.
Have a good day.
