Delilia Mattingly
James thanks so much for a great picture of Delilia Mattingly. One of the best i have seen. It has a great old tree in the background and the leaves have turned and the whole picture is just so very pretty and calm. You did a great job thank you very much. The lady you took a picture of her tombstone was born in 1822.

Thomas & Virginia Maxwell
Hi James ~ Thank you so much for the excellent photo of Thomas & Virginia Maxwell's headstone. I appreciate your time and effort very much. I'm sorry I was away from my computer for a couple of days. My thank you is tardy, but most sincere all the same. Thanks again. Have a great day!

Maxwell and Lambert Photos
Hi Jim, I've added memorials and photos for Alta/Milo and Luella/Hermann Maxwell and Laura and Roy Lambert (and some group shots of both families, incl. Robert and Mary Lambert; hopefully I have Roy correctly linked to his parents--note Bio note about Roy's wife Mary Booth(1st?) on Robert Lambert's memorial, if I'm reading it correctly). The smaller marker between the Lambert headstones is that of Grace Grant. Thought at first it may have been a Lambert when we were taking the photo, although the marker style is obviously different. Sorry for my tardiness. Let me know if you'd like any transfers. Loretta

RE: Thanks so much
That is certainly quite a tree! Thanks for sharing. Of special interest to me is Lydia Wheelock, as that is the first and middle name of two of my relatives (Linn County, MO and New York) on my Dad's maternal side. Wheelock Pease and William Wheelock Pease. Haven't drilled too far up the tree to find where they originated from, but know as do you that those maiden names (if indeed a maiden name) made it into first and middle names of descendants, sometimes almost as if by policy. I found out after I recently began this genealogy journey and after my father's death, how he came to have his middle name. Not sure even he knew!

RE: Thanks so much
Well, I do remember a few Brown's in Laclede Cemetery in Laclede, 5 miles away, where some of my family, Byrne, Fifield, Pease and Sipple are buried. Frank Fifield (my gg grandfather) and 3 other Fifield's are buried in Rose Hill. I currently have them in Brookfield City Cemetery, which is actually Rose Hill, and which needs to be combined on Find A Grave into Rose Hill. I was really hoping for some info. from Frank's marker, but he wasn't on the marker, but I know he's buried there. His wife Phoebe is in Laclede. Don't have any info. on Frank at all.
I don't have any additional photos of the Maxwells, other than those posted, but do have some other Lamberts. I do have a group shot of some of the Maxwells I can email you, if you'd like.
I also have Lula Lambert (1899-1988)
Laura (1892-1988) and Roy (1888-1965) Lambert
"Grace E." (1888-1928) who is between Mary/Robert and Laura/Roy Lambert.
I have a photo of one of the Lamberts that doesn't have a line down the middle of the stone as well. I can email all of them to you - the high res copies.
I'd love to take a look at your family tree, thank you very much!
I'll get the other Lamberts posted hopefully tomorrow. Pie-eyed now.
Loretta

RE: Thanks so much
James, Can I ask the name of your family of the photos of your great grandparents at Rose Hill? My husband and I have photos of those we could find with the same last names as those in the photo requests, so we have many to post. I just wanted to let you know in case there may be others. I found my gg grandfather in Rose Hill, too. Loretta

RE: Watterson Cemetery (Bastrop Co. TX)
I only contributed a photo for the Watterson Cemetery. I had nothing to do with setting up the cemetery and cannot make changes at that level. You will need to communicate with the FindaGrave support staff. LSW
