Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am 46 years old and have 3 children. Family history has always interested me. Find A Grave is a great way to help others learn more about their own family's past.

Dear Ancestor,

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.

Thank you for letting me know that there is no stone at this location. I will need to see if my cousins have knowledge of this.

Thank you, a mystery!
I am rather puzzled as to the meaning of the Baldassari marker. I thank you for documenting it and bringing it to my attention. I don't know if any alive in my family would have an explanation. I have a few conjectures. Thank you again for your help in photographing these families, the Baldassari and the Ferri.

Hi Judy,

Thanks once again for helping me out with another gravesite photo and for adding a page for Laura. I'll send along an edit with her maiden name.

Best Wishes,
Ellen M. Herrmann
