It is not my intention to frustrate persons who desire all the facts on memorials, but of late (2012) I seem to have done so.|
I made the choice early on to not include any living family members in a memorial. This is to protect them from possible identity theft. I will add the info if a family member requests that I do so, but only then.
I pray this explanation sheds some "light" onto the reasoning process of my memorial maintenance practices. I'm trying hard to be the very best "temporary guardian" that I can be.
Thank you and God Bless!

|Lisa Brewer||RE: Nat Pollard Photo|
You're welcome. There was a military stone nearby, but the dates did not match, if memory serves (and it may not) the dates appeared to be of someone younger even tho the names matched. I no longer have that photo but I will be happy to stop by and get it if you would like to see it.

Thanks very much for the transfer. It was unexpected, so I appreciate it all the more.

I am confused with the birth date of this John Welch as 1934 while his father connected to him was born 1932. Can you kindly check this and let me know how they connect or if the dates are correct?

My grandmother, Dorothy Gladys Cox was also a daughter of Mary Slaton and John Cox. I am new to this site, but am looking to find and share family history information. My grandmother is deceased, as is her sister Ethel Cox DeLozier, also not listed among the children.
Thank you for being a keeper of these records!
|Mary||Thank you for the photos!!!|
I appreciate very much the tombstone photos for Luther Riley Cox, Stella Rudolph Varnell, Leona Lorena Cox, Herbert Franklin Tharp, Cleda Helen Cox, and Vernon Howard Fielden. I especially appreciate all the other photos that I needed for different individuals but didn't request.
Thank you so much for your help and kindness!
I am submitting under edits a maiden name change for Stella Rudolph Cox's Memorial. Her maiden name is Varnell. Rudolph could be either her middle name or remarriage surname. Email me if you need more support.
"Tennessee, Marriages, 1796-1950," index, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XDMW-W58 : accessed 03 Jun 2014), Luther Cox and Stella Varnell, 29 Nov 1914; citing Jefferson County, Tennessee, reference p97; FHL microfilm 1928731.
