My name is Kathy. I am retired. What better way keep me busy than to walk through beautiful property as quiet and surreen as a cemetary full of love one from all over the country. I like to read the last words the living had to share with their departed friends and relatives. This also gives me ideas of what I might want to be remembered for. Some headstones just give birth and death years. Makes me want to say, "More! There has got to be more about this person."
This isn't about curiosity...it is about connecting with humanity....I want to help people connect to their past....It is so much easier when a picture is part of the memorial. You actually feel a certain closeness to the departed whether you are related or not. I plan on doing this until I can't do it any longer. Makes me feel good to leave memorials...And I believe the survivors might appreciate seeing that after many years people are still taking time out to say something nice about their departed love one. Sincerely, Kathy

A Muddle
Could you please tell me if Henry and Mary Rohe, memorials # 115690992 and 115691263 are the parents of William Rohe and Caroline (Rohe) Carr, memorials # 124902618 and 107587776 ? I thought I had a match for William Rohe's parents, but after reading Caroline's obituary, I think I am mistaken. If you find the maiden name, "Hess," on Mary Rohe's memorial, that was my doing and could be wrong, if I had the wrong Mary Rohe. Can you help? Thank you!
