Hi, I'm a retired police officer for the City of North Charleston in South Carolina. I retired in April 2005 with 33 years in law enforcememt. I also served 4 years in the USAF from 1967-1971. I have a beautiful wife, Roxanne, a beautiful daughter, Stephanie, who served 8 years in the United States Air Force and is now in the USAF Reserves. I have a beautiful grandaughter, born December 1, 2006, and her name is Raena Makenzie and she is the apple of my eye. I love to read and study history of the war for southern independence and World War II.|
Find A Grave is one of my favorite sites, it is very interesting and full of unlimited history. If you have some free time please stop by my mom and dads site and I would like to thank everyone for all of the beautiful flowers and messages left for them, it really means alot to us.

Many thanks for the the photo of my great uncle in the Locust Field Cem in Haywood County. I wanted to thank you and saw that you are an SCV member. I thought you might be interested to know that our newest member is from North Charleston, SC and works with the Hunley. He joined us because his ancestor served in our camp's namesake. What a small world. Thank you again and take care Sir. Ernest "Dusty" Kobs- Adj., Waul's Texas Legion # 2103, Katy, TX
