Dear Jeff,
Many thanks for your lovely tribute to the late, great Dame Thora Hird. Thora had suffered a stroke on 10 March and died on the 15 March 2003 at Brinsworth House, a retirement home for actors in south-west London.
In the biography you have stated that the place of her cremation is unknown. I have found the relevant piece of information and it is that Thora was cremated at Chichester Crematorium, in West Sussex.on 25 March 2003 in a private service attended by a handful of close family. | | | GJO

Greetings.
I'm afraid your submission for the Pike River Mine Disaster is not a valid Find A Grave listing. This website is for documenting burial places, cemeteries, and memorial sites, and by the latter I mean actual monuments erected in memory of a person or group of people. You can create individual interments for the victims, but presenting a tragic (and still ongoing) news event does not constitute a "memorial". It has been deleted.

Yeah i'm with you there Jeff... i've had run ins with them before regarding the 'famous' issue and what they consider the boundaries should be....then the 'cliques' got nasty on the message boards about stuff and i just can't be bothered with it. Hi Jeff...i think you'll find Howard is buried at Kauae Cemetery in Rotorua, NOT Rotorua Cemetery. Rotorua Cemetery is in Sala Street, Rotorua whereas Kauae is just out of Rotorua.
