Bio and Links
Bio Photo Just digging around for past relatives. Hope to contribute some where I find them. ...Pretty much found all the direct line dead Hobdells, so branching out to dig up the extended families, next door neighbors and the families of the past owners of the house I live in... And of course I'm interested in all things to do with Mount Moriah.

EDITS & TRANSFERS- Be patient with me I do not check my e-mail every day! If more than a week goes by then you are welcome to holler at me.

DUPLICATES - If my posting predates yours I will no longer take my memorials down. The only sure way to avoid duplicates is to do a search in the cemetery on the SURNAME alone before posting memorials for folks. That way you can see if they are there already.

PHOTOGRAPHS - I don't care what you do with photos I take. DO NOT ASK me to take my photos down because you have more stuff to to put on a memorial. Sorry, but I'm not falling for this gag again. I went and found the grave at my expense and took the shot. I'm under no obligation to remove my work just because you think your crap is better.

RE: Charles Cummines
That's interesting. I don't know a whole lot about Charles. He is my great grand uncle. In 1920, he was a teamster. Could they be the group who owned the lot? I have not been able to find him in the 1930 or 1940 censuses, but I believe he was in prison during those years. My grandfather had told me that he was in Eastern State for a while. I've come across a few newspaper mentions of the name Charles Cummines, but am never sure if they belong to him.

RE: memorial # 77462551
Robert,

Just re-read what I wrote and realized I mis-spoke. How did you find the children who are buried with Lillian? I will look into her siblings again, but am still trying to work out how these babies would be connected. Thanks again! Laura

RE: memorial # 77462551
Robert, Thank you for the transfer. I am researching Lillian and her husband William Reddington Watkins and I'm curious as to how you located her plot in Mt. Moriah. Were you just working from a list in that part of the cemetery, or did you have the name already and contact someone to find her plot. I know you contribute tons of photos. Any suggestions on how to further my research would be appreciated. I have not found a sister to Lillian by the name of Mary Ann. Is there a marker for this individual and her husband? Lastly, have you come across any record of William R. being buried near Lillian (or any other watkins)? I am having a really hard time locating him especially. Thank you again for all of your time and effort!!! Laura
