My wife and I live about five miles outside Reading, Berks County, Pa. I try to visit most of the cemeteries in Reading and the southwest corner of Berks. I've also wandered into Eastern Lancaster and Lebanon county where some family members are buried. I've had an interest in geneaology since 2002. (probably longer, I just didn't know it yet.) Findagrave has not only peaked my interest in taking cemetery photos, but, also in discovering and walking cemeteries in this area that I never knew were there. Not only have I documented many of my ancestors, I have been taking as many photos as possible in the hopes of helping others find theirs. If you are a family member, I will gladly transfer your ancestor's memorial to you. |
Future generations will want to know what happened to their ancestors, and Findagrave is the best way to document them.
Whose grave are you going to find today?
(Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers:
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Please include your member number for a transfer.
I will always make corrections and add links when asked. Thanks!!

I fulfilled photo request for Harry. Flip side of grave is Lavine family. Do you know if this family is related to Harry?

I received a phone call from a person named Borelli. He stated that I have a picture of Antonio, Luigi, and Carmelina Borelli (all on one headstone) on Find A Grave.
I doubted what he said but at the time I wasn't sure. So I went on Find A Grave and found a picture that you submitted under, ANTONIO BORELLI
He said that he has their obits and that they are buried at Gethsemane. You have them listed as being buried at Laureldale Cemetery.
I told him if I submitted the picture I would change the cemetery. Since I didn't submit the information I can't change it.
If you feel he is right perhaps you will want to change the cemetery to Gethsemane.
I think he saw the picture of the sign at Laureldale Cemetery, which I took, and so he thought I submitted the name, Antonio Borelli.

Can you please change his cemetery listing to Laureldale Cememtery? Also, can you list in his bio that he died from injuries sustained in a automobile accident?
My last message went through without explanation.
Thanks so much for the recent transfer. :)
