If you find that one of my memorials is of someone you are related to and you would like a transfer, please click the "Edit" tab and tell me of your relationship. I will be happy to transfer the memorial to you if your request is within Find-A-Grave guidelines.|
If you have your Find-A-Grave messages disabled and do not list an email address in your profile, please do not contact me. Transfer requests, comments about possible duplications, and all SAC requests will not be processed if I cannot contact you to ask a question. Not listing any contact information on your part gives me the impression that you have something to hide. If you are not listing any contact information in your profile because another Find-A-Grave member harassed you in the past, please send an email directly to my email address and not through the SAC function.
Note: I consider the gravestone photos that I have taken for Find-A-Grave to be in the Public Domain. You are therefore free to use the photos I have taken without asking my permission or giving me credit.
Also, please know that I occasionally find that I have taken gravestone photos for memorials that already have existing photos. If my photo is markedly better than the existing one because the existing photo is crooked, uncropped, overcropped, out of focus, or was taken from a poor angle, I will add my photo. Please do not contact me to advise or complain that I have "duplicated" an existing photo. Thanks for your understanding.
The following is from Find-A-Grave's FAQs: "Any contributor can upload an appropriate photo to any memorial regardless of who manages the page. No permission from the memorial manager is needed. However, if there is already a photo of the headstone, a second similar photo should not be added unless the original is of poor quality and the new photo is dramatically better."

Thanks for your input, Joe. I have no research on Amanda. If you have data beyond what's posted on her memorial, I'd be interested in seeing it.

Thanks so much for the photos!

Thanks again Joe for making an extra-ordinary effort to get photos! It's sad when cemeteries get into such bad shape like that, isn't it. I so appreciate all your efforts to try to capture the photos of these places for the rest of us who can't be there in person ourselves.

Thank you for posting the photo.
|Sharon||Annie Martha Gordon|
Thanks for the photo, and clarification of unmarked grave. I'm assuming that her husband Sam Gordon is buried in another location (Potter's Field) per his memorial photo.

Good morning Joe,
Thank you VERY much for the transfer & opportunity to help honor Edwin. You have made my day! I hope someone does something nice for you in return.
|Virginia Brown||RE: Dr. Hugh R. Gibson et all in the Richmond Cemetery (KY)|
Thanks once again Joe. I appreciate the information. Wish I had all of their memorials. Hugh's was just transferred to me, so I will enjoy helping honor him in his bio.
|Virginia Brown||Hugh Gibson's Stone|
Thank you very much for posting a photo of Hugh's tombstone. It is "perfect." Also a photo of the over-all plot. This really means a lot to me. I hope someone does something nice for you in return.

memorial # 95427712-Fred-Thank you for your effort of obtaining their gravestone photos. I was hoping there was a birth year. Alas, there was none. I do appreciate all you manage to accomplish for find a grave. Keep up the great effort. Again, thank you.
