|Roberta||Coomber - Werkheiser marriage|
Louise Werkheiser contacted me as I had added James Henry Werkheiser in Find A Grave. Please check his memorial and she will explain the problem. I already changed it on James' memorial that he married not a Coomber but a Metz. A family book, and reversed photo started all the problems... thanks Roberta

You seem to have some measure of expertise, or at least first hand knowledge of some of the Jo Daviess cemeteries. I've been doing a bit of research on men of the 92nd Illinois Infantry, many of whom came from Jo Daviess. One young man is listed (#62251194) as being buried here, having died in 1865, and someone had a photo request so I went up there this past weekend but could not locate him. I am convinced that the death date provided, 21 June 1865, is actually the date he mustered out of service. I'm wondering if you have access to any old records from Clay Cemetery that might shed some more light. Thanks for any thoughts you might have!

Thank you for your time and efforts photographing tombstones. My wife's paternal grandparents, the Olds and Sniders, were pioneers and longtime residents in and around Warren and Lena. They helped make the country great. Salt of the earth is putting it mildly.

Hello Old Country Roots.
This is a many greats Aunt of mine located in Townsend Cemetery in Stockton. The picture you took has a different name and dates on it than I have from ancestry.com.
Francis's dates are 1858-1932. Could you delete this one and locate the stone that matches her? It would be greatly appreciated.
She is Find A Grave Memorial# 75334371

Might you consider transferring Christina (Koch) Butz to me? She is my great grandmother.
Might you consider transferring George and his wife to me. They are my Great grandparents.
