Just a note: Chester Hardy Dye is my first cousing once removed. If you would link him to his dad, Hardy Dye 101599732 I would appreciate it. If you are not related you can transfer his memorial to me.
Thanks, Earl Dye

Find A Grave Memorial# 38369299
Just wondering how you found the info on where John was born. Did you have an obit or death cert?
I have been unable to find any Nails in that area but think I may have found him in Appling Ga in 1870...with father named Julian...which would fit since he named one of his sons Julian.
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

It has been quite some time since I took photos of some MILLARD headstones for you in Wappingers Rural Cemetery in Wappingers Falls, NY. Today, I was visiting with a good friend who owns an antique shop in Wappingers. He was showing me some of the new things that he just got in, and one item made me think of you. It has the MILLARD name on it, Lumber Co. in New Hamburg, NY. If you would like further info on this item, please feel free to contact me. Renee (email@example.com)

I respect your stewardship, but in her father's obit she is mentioned as Becky in Long Beach, CA. On Rebecca's memorial you have it noted her last residence as in Calif.
Rebecca Jo Brainard
A memorial service for Rebecca Jo Brainard will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at Painesville United Methodist Church, 71 N. Park Place, Painesville.
Becky passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, in Long Beach, Calif.
She was born May 20, 1949, in Painesville, to Richard and Elizabeth Brainard.
Becky grew up in Perry and moved to Long Beach, Calif. around 1979.
Becky was employed by Morton Salt while living in Lake County, and Beach Orthopedic Surgeons in Long Beach.
Becky loved gardening and working outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and nephew, Jason.
Survivors are her sisters, Kathy (Don) Stanley of Rockhill, S.C., Betsy Brainard of Madison and Deb (Dave) Kendrick of Perry; brothers, Jim (Barb) Brainard of Dorset, Tim Brainard of Henderson, Tenn., and Bill (Karen) Brainard of Fort Myers, Fla. ; and many nephews and nieces.
Contributions in Becky's memory may be made to Trinity Hospice, 17315 Studebaker Road, Suite 101, Cerritos, CA 90703.
I hope you will make the links as requested. As the surname Brainard/Brainerd is also my own and is the focus of my research I hope you will consider transferring their memorials to me.

Yikes! I'm finding information out on F.A.G. that says she married John Read (#14192678) who apparently died AFTER she married to Thomas Read (#24028763).
Is it possible that John died in 1675 and then Anna married Thomas that same year?
relation to me: wife to my direct ancestor Thomas Read (great-grandfather x10)
