I have changed my photo to this Phoebe Bird in honor of my Mother Phoebe Delois Predmore Rittenhouse. She did the family history for over 40 years and I have continued it for over 40 years also.|
I would not have had the information if she had not gotten me started. I quit for about ten years, but got into it lately on Find A Grave. I love the site. I have met so many helpful people.
Some of my family surnames are: Predmore, Rittenhouse, Stallings, Rogers, Swan and Peters for just a few.
My husband's family is Williams, Crowley, Sexton, Hughes, Clark and Penn.
Beautiful memories etched upon our hearts and souls will never be forgotten.
I am so sorry if I have not sent a thank you to you, or answered a question that you may have asked.
My computer crashed and I lost all of my email addresses and correspondence.
I am going to remove my email address here and only use the public message option. Those who have my email may also continue to use it for long messages.
Sorry about this. I have been very disappointed, because I enjoyed chatting with all of you.
If you are related I would be more than happy to transfer, if they are NOT my relatives. Always happy to see the memorials in the hands of relatives.
THIS IS A MUST: It makes it easier if you click on each memorial; go to the upper right hand corner and click Edit and then click on Suggest a correction or provide additional information and ask for the transfer showing your name, ID # and relationship.
PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY DUPLICATES ON FIND A GRAVE. THANK YOU.

Thank you very much.

Raymona - To answer your question, yes, these are actual burials. The stones are new, of course. This was a five acre deeded cemetery from the 1800s. At some point an adjoining landowner started farming it, and pushed the stones into the ditch to make room for a circle irrigation system. The cemetery was restored in the 1990s, I think, with the help of the Job Corps, and is now fenced. I believe there are at least seven burials there. The Dawes County Museum has the information, with a map and a list of burials. I was only there once, taken by a local, and I have no idea where it is or how to get there - it didn't seem there were any road signs!! I do think I have the information with the map if you would like me to try to find it and send it to you. I also have a photo of the original stones in the ditch!! Such an unbelievable disgrace!!!
P.S. My Mothers name is Phoebe!!

Any luck on that photo for Hazel Robinson at Kimball Cemetery?
|Robin||RE: Cedarblade Thank You|
You are welcome for the photo. I kind of expected to see a husband but didn't expect a whole family of Cedarblades. There is Malcolm, a sister Corinne, 2 brothers and their parents. I am not related but I guess if you want to transfer Helen to me it would be okay.
