 | RE: Adaline and Johnson Welch As I was uploading Johnson's headstone photo yesterday, I realized that there must be at least one more for him since the cemetery directory listed his Civil War information. I went back today and found the civil war marker. Unfortunately, it was set flat into the ground and has become semi-buried. I uncovered it as much as possible and took the photo which I've added to his memorial. I'm very surprised that he isn't included on the Welch family monument with his parents and wife, but he's not. Nor is there any other grander headstone that I could find. | | | Barbara Banales

 | RE: Margaret Favorite Charles,
I enjoyed the drive in the country.
You're welcome.
I found out that there -appears- to be two other cemeteries in FindAGrave that appear to be the same cemetery:
Creagerstown Cemetery Creagerstown Lutheran Reformed Church Cemetery Saint Johns Lutheran Church Cemetery
As luck would have it, the cemetery board was having a supper fund-raiser in the community hall across the street, one of the board members saw me walking around and came out. I have her contact info if you'd like it. I emailed asking for the official name of the cemetery, and will make the request to the admins to combine them when she replies.

 | RE: Riley in Greenwood I did some searching today, and may have found an item of interest to you. I've added the obituary for Harvey Riley, who seems to be the person who ties the whole plot together. He may have been Jennie's stepson, as it lists his father as George W Riley. However, his mother is listed as Maria Hollenshand Riley, not the same maiden name as the obit on your memorial for George Riley's first wife. Nor is he listed with your George Riley's children. I started to link Harvey to George as his father, but decided to wait to see if you think it is correct. As for Jennie, she is listed in the cemetery index but no plot or dates. I added the plot burial record to Harvey's memorial, and there are two unidentified graves, so I would be willing to guess she is one of them since that was already the plot listed on your memorial for her. I also have a couple of the other obits for that plot that I will be adding, but they don't provide much additional information on the rest of the family. Have fun with the new puzzle pieces.

 | Riley in Greenwood Unfortunately, there are no markers at all in Section 40 Lot 5 of Greenwood in Palmyra, so I added a photo showing where the lot is located. I also added a number of memorials based on the lot burial record, and I susect it includes her husband and daughter.
The ones I added are: Cox, Margaret Ellen Smith 109879786 Riley, Harvey Jacob 109879999 Riley, Mabel 109880318 Smith, Anna Lee 109879535 Smith, Julia Ann Bartlett 109879213 Smith, Michel H 109879155
Let me know if you would like transfers of any of these to your care, or if not, any information beyond what I was able to discover that you would like added. | | | wjweinberg
 | Frank Henry Logan When you ask for a high resolution photo, are you asking me to email you a photo? I'm not sure how to upload a high resolution photo to Find A Grave. | | | gipsie
 | RE: Rev James Nourse and wife. No problem. I was going to apologize because it was an iPhone picture. I will try to get the other tomorrow. Is there any others you may want while I am out there?Added by gipsie on Apr 09, 2013 6:27 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
