My name is Mark Eitel, as seen above. I am originally from Forest City, North Carolina. Along with my roots there in Rutherford County, I have ties to Buncombe and McDowell Counties in North Carolina and Bradley, Greene, and Sevier Counties in Tennessee. I am married and have two children.
I am in the process of researching both my family tree and that of my wife, in the possibility that one of our children should grow up to care about his or her ancestors like we have. To that end, more graves will be added here as more graves are visited.
RE: Kay Eitel Newton I have transferred her memorial to you. Sorry it took me so long, Find a Grave was down for me. I don't believe I knew her or her family, I just ran across her obit and added her, hoping a family member would come forward as you did. Thank you for all your work here.
Corrections made Thank you for letting me know of the error. All of the memorial pages requested have been corrected and I have added images of the gravestones for each which include their GPS coordinates. The cemetery does not have a sextant, and with Ft. Hill Cemetery being very large (10,000+ graves) the section and plot numbers on the grave pictures along with the GPS coordinates will allow you to find them.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

First one is, the best way to contact someone is the "suggest a correction" feature. Use the "edit" tab on the memorial and hit "click here" for correction.
