If you click on the cemetery name and look at the other photos of the cemetery, you'll see a photo with a flagpole. In an arc, facing the flag, are about 30 similar period Veterans Affairs stones. The memorial was placed by the Wabash Chapter of the DAR in 1964. They might be able to provide more information.

You are welcome! When I fulfill a photo request that has a family stone, I usually take photos of the entire family just in case. I'm glad it worked out:)

You are very welcome. We also posted photos of Remer and Frieda Leverett, whose graves were on the east side of the large Leverett marker. As you can see by Thomas' marker, it was quite covered over. Glad to be able to let the sun shine on him again.
