RE: consider his messages
I got your E-mail.
As I do not know you or any of the other thousands of volunteers on Findagrave, any suggestion for correction of an entry is impersonal.
I once saw a typo on Findagrave and corrected it. Then I saw another in a name, which means that the public cannot find it using Findagrave's search facility. So, correcting it would make the memorial accessible to the public, which is -after all- why we enter the memorials.
Forenames, surnames, birth- and deathdates are all search críteria. In order to get the right results the entries must be as accurate as possible.
Since I started correcting, some 21,000 more memorials can now be found by those searching for them. I thought that a good idea and a service to everyone, and to Findagrave, which is a wonderful site full of genealogic information.
Yours sincerely,
R.J. Brotherhood

Carl Schnabel
Hello-- I see the three stones for father (Charles who died in 1944), mother (Louisa, who died in 1922)and son (Carl F, who died in 1950), but none of them are for Carl (death 1906) or his wife Anna (who died in 1904). Is there a separate stone for them or are there markings on the large stone to show their names and death dates? Thanks-- Judy

RE: Van Patrick Memorial
Normally the "famous" interments are indicated on the original memorial. Apparently the person putting up his memorial didn't think he was famous or didn't indicate it. Van Patrick was well known to me because I lived in Dearborn.
