You will need to do the linking for his parents...I can't do it from their sites.
"Sorry, could you link George and Catherine Sommers to their son, Jacob?
his # is 107687711."

I would like to request a Transfer of this memorial.
Andrew Jackson Rowe is the husband of my Great Great Aunt and I would like to add some Family Links to his memorial.
I would appreciate this very much,
Find A Grave
What an unexpected find! Many thanks for posting the grave site of these two very beloved members of our family, Letha and Ray Payne of Republic, Kansas. The dates, November 29th and December 3rd, 1918, the height of the 1918 flu pandemic, were an especially difficult time, as both Ray and Letha left behind two young children- Leigh 6, and baby Neva. Leigh, my grandad, recounted how he was given a rose following the funeral for his mother Letha. Only a few days later would he place that same rose upon the grave of his father, Ray. Thank you again for documenting this important piece of our family's history.

I so hope some of that info will be helpful to you!
I understand the Ireland part! I have the 2 that came over and some of their kids, but we have NOTHING on his parents, which is my direct link. Do you have someone in Ireland that is helping you?

The info I have is what I put on Find A Grave. It came from the Gen Soc walking the cemeteries but I have found a good deal of info missing. I'm thinking it could be that the headstone was illegible at the time of their reading, which was around 2003. I have their files and checked to see if anything more was in there but found nothing.
But...there is a book titled: City of Shullsburg: Indexed cemetery records, Evergreen Cemetery, Old St. Matthew's Cemetery, New St. Matthew's Cemetery, Sullivan death records, Lafayette County, State of Wisconsin -- it was published in 1985 -- that could be helpful to you. The McCoy Library in Shullsburg, WI might have it: 608-965-4480 or perhaps the Johnson Library in Darlington, WI might: 608-776-4171. Darlington is a larger library. Another option is the Lafayette County Historical Society: 608-776-8340 -- they are open 1-4pm M-Sat.
I'm hoping that these pieces of info will be helpful to you. Perhaps a photo request could produce some info as well? Just to cover all bases.
I know how exciting it is to find someone so I do hope this is your relative!

In the same plot as A. C. and A. E. Yett was a Walter H. Yett. I added the picture of his headstone too. Just FYI

I am so sorry to bother you. But I had just assumed that the profiles I made first would be deleted because I didn't have a cemetery listed for them. But, they didn't get deleted. I was wondering, could you please delete the newest memorial? (113240587)
|Celeste Pritchard||Anastasia Prachar Ambroz|
I am researching the Prachar family for a friend and was happy to come across your memorial for Anastasia Prachar who was married to Frank Thomas Ambroz. At least I think I have found the right individual but I'm confused by your information. The name on your memorial is Anastasia Ambroz Prachar and you list her parents as Frank and Anna Ambroz. The photo you have for Anastasia's grave has Anastasia Prachar Ambroz which is correct and her parents would be Prachar rather than Ambroz. From other information I have found, Frank and Anna Ambroz are the parents of Anastasia's husband Frank Thomas Ambroz.
Anastasia had a sister Mary Ann Prachar who married a Michael Ambroz. I do not know whether Michael and Frank are related. I found some information on RootsWeb that says Michael was the son of Francis Ambroz and Mary Bica. Michael died 27 Aug 1955 and is also buried in Crown Hill Cemetery in Madison.
A search for Ambroz in Crown Hill came up with only your 3 memorials. I am wondering if you have come across any other Ambroz or Prachar family in that cemetery or if you have any additional information on either of these families. My Prachar friend is a descendant of Bert Prachar who was a brother to Anastasia and Mary Ann. She will be visiting Nebraska later this month and I'm hoping that Crown Hill Cemetery will have some more information for her.
Anything you can add would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.
|Judy Mannenbach||Leonard Tetzloff|
Hi again Lori,
I have the date of birth for Leonard Tetzloff, memorial #112536783 as February 12, 1908 and the date of death as November 14, 1959. These dates are from my husband's aunt's research. Do you have any information on Leonard's wife, Bertha, besides the dates on the headstone? Thanks.
