Bio and Links
Bio Photo We both enjoy visiting graveyards in the Northeast Ohio/Northwest PA area and taking photos of people's ancestors' gravestones. It is a way to "pay forward" and let descendants of these people know that their loved ones will always be remembered. We belong to the Ashtabula Co. Genealogical Society and are working on photos for Edgewood Cemetery to be placed on the Society's site - www.ashtabulagen.org.
You may use the photos we have placed on this site for your research. We just ask that you give credit to the Ashtabula Co. Genealogical Society.

Might the source consulted which stated that Howard Brigden of the 23rd Ohio Regiment was a spy during the Civil War be cited in his memorial?

Actually, (sorry for the late response) the person who placed the photo was not me. I just happened to notice they were duplicate entries.

I saw with interest the photo of the family memorial marker at Fairview Cemetery and just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that the regiment in which he served was the 7th Iowa Volunteer Cavalry. In the caption of the detail photo a blank space had been left for his unit, and thought you might wish to add that info. Thank you for all your hard work - Dean Knudsen

Lulu Falls Cemetery - Carpenter
Hi!! I'm interested in a burial in Lulu Falls, and have been searching high and low for how to contact the sexton. There doesn't appear to be anyone on site, and the librarian was wonderfully pleasant but couldn't help me either.

My ex-husband is connected to the Miles Ransom family, which are buried near the front of the cemetery. In 1899, Miles' son-in-law, George W. Carpenter, died of a Typhoid Embolism in Cleveland, Ohio. Death record states body was taken to Kingsville. I've searched every online cemetery listing I can find, but no luck. I'm hoping George was buried in Miles Ransom's family plot.

thanks for any feedback, I appreciate you taking the time to read this!
