Currently working on several trees. Born in Tampa, Florida, raised in Bayside, Queens County, New York City, New York, currently living in Northern New Jersey. Retired in 2008.|
On my mother's side there are Irish and German immigrants (mid 1800s) who lived and raised families in the New York City area. My grandmother on my father's side is the link that makes me a direct descendant of Edward Doty who came over on the Mayflower in 1620. There are generations of colonizers and pioneers on this side. My family on my father's side were pioneers who went from New England to Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Iowa and finally into the western states. I am trying to organize everything for future generations and to honor my ancestors who have been forgotten and struggled greatly to just to survive.

|Norma Tyler||RE: GILDONE|
Thank you for your quick response to my request regarding Elizabeth Gildone. She is my mother and
my father was Leverne Peterson. I do not have a
sister Ester, sorry, must be a different line. My
Peterson line has a very interesting history if
you would like to check that out at some time.
There was a name change back in the Revolution
Days that is somewhat fun to read.
Thanks again. Norma Tyler

Hi Ken-what I can do is just make the change, but then I'll put your name in for supplying the data. When I get corrections, I do the research myself to confirm if its correct, if the data is correct that folks give me, then I just make the change. But I have to say, I couldn't find anything on the Hills.
As far as Mary Stannard 80949290, I'm really stumped on that one, because her gravestone says she was born in 1840, and you are asking me to change her birth date to a different date! I'm just wondering if perhaps this is the wrong Mary Stannard? I still have to do some research on her...Bear with me! Irma

|Nancy Gilbert||RE: EDIT APPROVALS|
Thank you for pointing that out to me. I have never had anyone use the "edit" before. Usually I get notified via email and make corrections that way. Sorry about that, I have accepted all edits and the changes should appear. Thanks again.
|Jack W. Davis||William Davis|
What proof do you have that the Rev. William Davis (1790-1868) and who is buried in the Woodland Cemetery in Xenia, Greene County, Ohio is our 2nd great granduncle?
I went through ancestry.com and couldn't find any proof of it.
Jack W. Davis
Please forgive me.... I saw the edits on my account. I will get right on it now :)

I usually do edits same day or with 24 hours...
I was away for the month of April ( new grandbaby) :)
Could you refresh the edit requests, or head me in the right direction, as I "star" all my Find A Grave correspndace and I have nothing as of now.
Thanks for Your Assistance,

|Diane Whitney||RE: James Whitney died 1851|
I sent you an email. What I am trying to figure out on ancestry right now is if Polly was Mary's middle name as some women tended to do use that and sometimes we see a different name on a headstone. It really confuses things. I am still trying to find something that may conclude that the headstone I have shown, is correct, but not sure yet. The dates match up. I sent you an email with lots of information on James and Mary.
